Thanks for the video and for putting the required tools list in the comments. I'll be putting a set of Bilsteins on my 2019 F250 the weekend and watching your video was helpful in getting ready for that task.
I'm about to replace mine along with adding 2.5" springs and caster shims. I'll be taking off the wheels, of course. Would it work in that case to put the truck on jack stands, lower the axle, slide the shock through the upper mount, attach the shock to the bottom mount, and then raise the axle to press it in? Just brainstorming.
Sorry,I just saw this. If you don't have a thin wrench, you can clamp the shock itself - with monkey wrench or if you have a strap wrenches to keep the shock from rotating.
I believe it just pulls up off the stud. Its like a plastic piece that kind of clinches onto the threads of the stud I believe. I will double check when I get home.

Maybe, I have not done any shims before, so I am not really sure.

So to do this job you have to grind a 21 open wrench? I'm trying to do this today, is there no other tool? Seems like there should be.

I am not sure. Tight. Based on my experience its somewhere around 70-80 ft lbs.

Drivers side has a brake line attached at the top. Not sure how to remove it??

@@goddom that is correct. Pull it off or pry it up gently with a large flat screw driver through the wheel well.
