Go QB. Either Daniels or Maye. Preferably Maye. You can still get talented receivers on day 2.

I feel bad for Drake Maye...his career went in the trash bin the moment it was announced he was the Pats pick. 😮

@@dalelange845 Let me guess. You're a Vikings fan. One of my favorite things on draft nght was seeing the reactions of disappointed Vikings fans at the Drake Maye pick. Those were fun. 😜

@StabbyMacStabStab The Giants and Broncos made reasonable offers, but the inexperienced Patriots staff apparently was way too greedy. Live and learn. I can't speak for the Vikings fan base, but one would assume they are quite content with their first round selections. Pretty common knowledge that with all the talent they already have in place on the offensive side of the ball, whichever QB ended up there, that QB would have the best chance for success of those in this year's draft class....at least according to Belichick, but what would he know? New England currently has arguably the most roster needs in the entire league. They should have addressed those first before wasting this year's draft capital on a QB they will likely ruin.

@@dalelange845 That narrative about "dont take a young franchise QB of the future because your roster isnt ready for one" makes absolutely no sense. This is the first draft cycle i've ever heard that argument being made. It's like everyone was conspiring to force the Patriots to give Drake Maye to the Vikings. Early drafting teams pick QBs early all the time regardless if their rosters are "ready" or not. No one made this argument for the Bengals and Jaguars to not take Burrow or Lawrence even though their rosters were terrible. If you need a QB and you can get a good one, you take one, simple as.
Also, the Vikings are objectively still going to be the worst team in the NFC North, especially after that Bears draft. So that "best chance of success is with the Vikings" is a very generous overestimation given their opponents in the division. Their new QB JJ McCarthy is in no way better than Kirk Cousins so I fail to see how he will elevate them.

I’d go Marvin Harrison with the Third Pick and then nab Bo Nix or Michael Penix in rd. Two

On God, Drake Maye as a Patriot seems like such a good fit. Jayden Daniels just… doesn’t quite feel like such a good fit for the Patriots.
