I upload to TikTok directly from PC as well, but for those wanting to transfer: if you have an Android, you can just plug your usb cable (probably same one used to charge it) from your phone to pc and transfer files directly, instead of using a drive
My extremely scuffed method I'm going to use as someone with only a non-VR-Ready laptop and standalone Quest 2 is to make my partner a desktop VRchat profile on my laptop and use OBS to record his POV aimed at me in front of him while I'm on my Quest 2, and I speak into my good microphone that records directly to OBS as well. From there I'm going to edit the video in my video editor to fit the dimensions of TikTok and upload to TikTok from my PC. The main issue I'm running into while in the testing phase for this is when my partner mutes me so that there isn't an echo, my mouth won't move. I think I'll just mute the desktop audio in OBS, record only my voice and the video, and insert my own music over it later. Probably safer for copyright reasons anyways.
or just click in video record on the vr itself go back to what ur doing and it will click with or without voice… then just send it to ur pc, on ur pc u grab the video and just cut the parts u dont need.
@@chipsvr69 no worries! I noticed that it was posted a year ago. Just figured I’d reply in case anyone else was wondering why they didn’t have the stream cam.

"Before you get started you need to get a good PC" *looks at my gaming laptop and leaves*
no wayyy you are amazing!!!! this was so helpful and articulate while being straight to the point! just subscribed!
6:55 Shift + Del, it will delete and clear all those empty spaces in the timeline
the mouth animation is so good when you speak
Wish vrchat made a RECORD function for ALL users instead of those with a powerful PC
It's not really Vrchat's fault, mostly because VR takes a lot of ressource, and recording takes even more

i don’t have the stream camera and i have a quest 2? how do i get that?
I know this is an old comment, but I’ll reply anyway lol. The stream cam is a PCVR only feature. It’s not available in the standalone Quest version.
@@Voicingspy thanks for responding although it was a year ago ^^
