I think Claire gets better as a character over time for sure. I see why people still hated her by the end but I liked her and her interactions with the other characters during seasons 12 and 13.
I never saw that as Sam trying to give Dean perspective. I always saw it as Sam looking for reassurance that Dean had to do it and it wasn't just the Mark making him bloodthirsty.
This episode is really great I'm glad that Jeremy Carver decided to bring back claire Novak love seeing castiel trying to make things right with her he was so right about randy
11:27 and that look was cas realizing he might actually have to follow through on what dean asked him & kill dean 💔💔😭 and that terrified him I love Claire 🥰 love this episode so much
I look at Cass' situation as if a soldier gets his life saved at the expense of another soldier. You owe the man who saved your life everything. And yeah, it's not your responsibility to help out his family who now has to go on without him ... but you should.
Claire is a young woman who is confused and trying her best. This episode is hilarious and touching at the same time. Dean has that wtf moment and it’s devastating.
I love Claire! she's a little whiny sometimes, but like...so is Sam sometimes, lol. She had a lot of terrible shit happen to her in her life so she's allowed. Honestly I just love every time she interacts with Dean and calls him old. I think it's hilarious
don't you love how the mark of a great Supernatural episode is you feel all types of ways afterwards. like your heart has just been taken out and toyed with and put back backwards.
Yes claire has every right to be angry with castiel I never understand why claire got so much hate the girl who plays claire her name is Kathryn newton from the movie freaky
I love this episode! Not going to lie powerful/scary Dean is my favourite. 😈 The other thing I love about this episode is the conversation that Dean and Cas have in the diner. When other characters talk with Dean he usually just shuts them down and they accept what he says because he's so self-assured, like when Sam asks him how he's doing and he says 'fine' and that's the end of the conversation. But Cas knows Dean so well that he can tell he's not okay and pushes back to try and coax a real answer, and Dean actually does open up to him (even though it's only a little) in a way that he never really does with any other characters.
i love claire!!!! and i didn’t feel bad for randy or those men at all . and randy was emotionally manipulating claire anyway and also people claimed to hate claire but love dean when they’re so similar
I love that they let Cas struggle with the consequences of his actions in this episode! I get it from his POV; he needed a vessel, first to do Heaven's bidding, then to stop the Apocalypse, and he acquired one with consent. But he did promise Jimmy that his family would be safe, and he failed to live up to that promise. Sure it's hard when you have nothing really to offer the family, Jimmy being dead and all. But he at least owed them some closure, and that lack of closure hurt both Claire and Amelia. I'm glad this haunts Cas, and I'm proud of him for attempting to take responsibility for it, even if he struggles with how to do that. I also really love Claire! She is one of the more "real" characters imo, she really feels like teenager who has been through more than her share of grief (at least compared to other teens on tv!). Like the fact that she trusts someone we can clearly see is mostly just using her, it feels like the sort of understandable mistake someone in her situation would make. She is very sympathetically flawed, as well as being a tough and charming young person.
I sorta feel sorry for crowley you can tell after so many years that he is still hurt by Rowena you are right parents shape their children I totally see the similarities between crowley and rowena they are definitely mother and son

There's a lot of different views on Claire within the fandom. Some hate her (with a passion), some love her. I personally really like her. I think she gets way too much hate for stupid reasons. Be interesting to see your views on her.

@@tiggytiggsboo I don't dislike her for her feelings for Castiel because they're completely justified he wrecked her life and didn't look back for six years but her subsequent appearances in later seasons I find her completely unlikable because she has a better path laid out for her other than hunting by Jody and she disrespects her after taking her in thinking she knows it all and she sucks at hunting it's clear she shouldn't be one that episode where she gets turned into a werewolf says it all she'd be dead if it weren't for Sam and Dean.

Sam and Dean (in the WS episode when she saved them), she made Sam and Dean looked stupid, etc, etc. Aaand ... the icing on the cake was when Kathryn posted a congratulation tweet when Jensen and Misha won Best Choice TV Chemistry, via posing in a photo with Jensen, Jared, and Misha with the captioned "My two Dads (and uncle Moose)." You can google the image. Of course, this is referring to Cas and Dean as the dads and Sam as the uncle. She was so hurt by the hate she received because these were sent to her, not as Claire (you can take two guesses who sent them to her) that she told fans in an m&g about the hate if I am not mistaken.
You can't convince me that John didn't beat the hell out of Dean when he got him back to the motel. Sam's face doesn't show the same appreciation for the story. But that's my take. I despise John lol. Dean especially carries SO much trauma from how John treated those boys. I love that even Claire can see how Cas has changed since she last saw him. My heart breaks for the kid. Also, the guy that played Randy was also on Days of Our Lives around the same time Jensen was. I recognized him immediately! I also think this is a great episode!

Rowena is in my top 5 favorite characters of all time. I absolutely adore her 🤩🤩🤩💞💞💞

Rowena was abusive to Crowley, who in turn was abusive to his own son, Gavin.
In a recent interview mark sheppard wanted the character rowena to be his ex wife instead of his mother that definitely would had worked to me 😂🤣😄
