A question to jewish women (sorry, if this is a stupid question): Are there any rules what the wigs are allowed to look like? Because wigs can be way prettier/more "seductive" than the actual hair...?
Nope, no restrictions! For Jewish women, covering hair is done as a sign of marriage rather than for modesty reasons (hence why unmarried adult women don't cover their hair), so the perceived "seductiveness" of the hair cover/wig doesn't matter! Not a stupid question at all :)
In Christianism By covering her head, female saints received “power on her head” and could interact with angels (1 Corinthians 11:10) Manuals of early Christianity, including the Didascalia Apostolorum and Pædagogus, instructed that a headcovering must be worn by women during prayer and worship as well as when outside the home. (1 Corinthians 11:5) A man indeed ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but woman is the glory of man. (1 Corinthians 11:7)
The wig is a consept that started during violent pogroms in Russia. Russian man used to identify Jewish women by their head cover and do some not nice things to them. This is when they came up with the wig, to full, not God But evil man.
The fact that Jewish woman can wear a wig on top of the hair is cool. Meanwhile me wearing hijab thinking, why can’t I just wear a wig on top of my real hair, my hair is technically not showing.😅😂😂

As a Catholic, there are women who choose to veil during worship. I have and I do think it’s a good thing and I can really see the value in covering our hair all the time as well as our bodies. Modesty is beautiful.
Once a Jewish woman marries, her hair is private and only can her husband (and a bunch of other folks as discussed in this video) see it. The practice of covering hair with a wig emerged in the 18th century amongst Ashkenazi Jews. The topic of wig vs scarf is a hot debate. Some scholars say it’s acceptable, some say it isn’t. Those who argue for it say that modesty does not mean dressing shabby or less than. The purpose of covering hair is to keep it private and only for her husband. Thus, a wig suffices. Fundamentalist christians often cover hair as well. The three Abrahamic religions are extremely similar, much more alike than different. This is why many theocratic governments and religious political movements ban study/ practice of other religions... they don't want people to realize how alike they are in their beliefs. Dividing and othering groups of people prevents solidarity of the lower classes.
Why do people only discuss Muslims for hijabs, niqabs when jewish and christians are also supposed to cover their bodies and hair? That's another thing that most follow their desires and do not apply in life but the core msg is to cover up, period!
In the Bible modest dress that is not ostentansiou is required. However, a woman's long hair is considered a covering for her in and of itself and as a sign of submission to her husband's authority.
I think Muslim and Jewish women get criticized more for it. I wear an African headwrap every day, and no one ever asks any questions or acts weird. I guess people's perception is different when it is cultural versus religious.
The point of covering the hair is to conceal the beauty. Wearing a wig would defeat that point. It would be playing a dangerous game of trying to find loopholes in God's prohibition
Jewish women don’t wear hijabs but will wear a different kind of head scarf. Some women will just wear a hat because there are different opinions about how much of the head you have to cover
Covering your face is not mandatory because our face isn't Awrah (which means parts that must be covered), it's called Niqab. Most women just stick to Hijab :D
@@hearts4pinkie_she explained in one video that if she were to wear only a Hijab, she would probably wear make-up because she would want the only part of her face showing, to be prettiest. Since make-up and vanity are a no-go, she choose to cover up completely.
It’s because she is brainwashed into thinking it’s “modest”, she comes from Pakistan which is the capital of Islamic fundamentalism… so I’m not surprised - sincerely a non hijabi Muslim woman 😊
@@unitedcoloursofAfg You cannot be Muslim and say another one of your sisters is “brainwashed.” THE QURAN says showing your hands and face are the BARE MINIMUM of modesty. Educate yourself on your OWN religion before speaking low on others and judging them. Who do you think you are? You think you’re one to judge? You think you’re the best judge? Get real.
Any male she(muslim) can't marry or have direct blood relation is allowed to see her hair(Father,Son,Brother,GrandFather[Paternal & Maternal]) & every woman is allowed to see her hair.
I know of several Muslim women who allow their hair to be seen, are they less Muslim than you? As for the wigs, are they synthetic or real hair, if real does it have to be human? If synthetic how do you dispose of them without adding plastic to the environment?
I believe in free religion for all. That being said, why don’t the men have to cover hair or anything else??? I find it unfair, and I find myself feeling sorry for you. I feel you aren’t free-which isn’t right.
I don't understand why all females can see your real hair but no males because that would mean it's about attractiveness/sexuality/modesty..and you are still wearing beautiful wigs and fully down and exposed for that matter so..?? Nor do I understand why the niqab is legal in America smh. It's unsettling not to be able to see people's faces and it's against our values regarding women. Covering just your hair is a totally different matter than covering your face
I have a question... In your opinion, if a Muslim does not always wear a hijab, and eats non halal food, but they still believe in Allah and the prophet (and some other stuff), are they still are proper Muslim??
If they know that it's haram (impermissable) to do that but are still doing it, then yes, they are still Muslim. They will get the sin for doing those acts and should repent to Allah and do their best to not do it again (He is the Most Merciful). However, if they are doing those things, believing their halal (permissible) and changing God's laws, then that can take them out of the folds of Islam. We all fall short and will fall into sin but we turn to Allah and ask for His forgiveness and He is the Most Forgiving and Merciful (these are actually the meaning of some of His attributes)
Of course, anyone who says no is misinformed. The second you believe in Allah and that Muhammad PBUH is his prophet, then you are a Muslim. You could wear a hijab and pray 5 times a day but not believe in his message and you'll automatically not be a Muslim. Obviously not wearing a Hijab and not praying ever likely isnt the best way to go about being a devout Muslim of course. But Allah is most merciful and 80% of what the Qur'an teaches is morals, the rest is practice and other factors. Just believe in the message of god and be a fundamentally good person.

The male cousin is NO because they usually marry their first cousins..
@@Ami-ml7gp it's never Jewish, they get away with everything. Muslims face racism with the head coverings all the time.
So would a Muslim woman be able to wear a wig too? Do Jewish people wear hijab? Or do yall pretty well stick to each her own? 😊 Such a cool video! ❤❤
No, it haram for women in Islam to wear wigs
^ This is true and some Jewish women wear coverings like hijab instead of wigs
No wigs are not allowed in islam
The point of covering the hair is to conceal the beauty. Wearing a wig would defeat that point. It would be playing a dangerous game of trying to find loopholes in God's prohibition
Jewish women don’t wear hijabs but will wear a different kind of head scarf. Some women will just wear a hat because there are different opinions about how much of the head you have to cover
Loved this video!
i always wondered why some Muslim Women cover their face AND hair, and others only cover their hair and not their face. Is that a choice as well??
Covering your face is not mandatory because our face isn't Awrah (which means parts that must be covered), it's called Niqab. Most women just stick to Hijab :D
@@failed_youtuber oh okay thank you so much! (ノ´ヮ´)ノ*: ・゚
@@hearts4pinkie_ you're welcome :DDD!
@@hearts4pinkie_she explained in one video that if she were to wear only a Hijab, she would probably wear make-up because she would want the only part of her face showing, to be prettiest. Since make-up and vanity are a no-go, she choose to cover up completely.
It's a difference of opinion, some say covering the face and hands is mandatory and some don't. But covering the hair is mandatory!
Where do you get your niqabs from Mubina? And what kind of fabric are they made of?
Her mom or grandma probably made it
If it is like my country, Nakabs can be easily found in hijab store
Thanks for the information❤
What's wrong with hair?
It's a form of pride
Immersive translate is also great for generating bilingual subtitles. I love the app for that
Anyone you can't marry can see your hair in Islam. And if emergencies like docs, cops etc....
Absolutely ridiculous
Amazing wig! Looks very natural😊
Her being shocked that brothers and uncles can't prob has her thinking "are they big on incest orrrrr?"
Lol... I was thinking the same
😭 my male cousins have all seen my hair
Let's go ask the males next-
Wow. That’s interesting. I didn’t know Jews had rules about hair lol
I'm sorry if this is offensive or bad. Mubina, why do you cover your face? Is it for modesty?
Of course 😂
It’s because she is brainwashed into thinking it’s “modest”, she comes from Pakistan which is the capital of Islamic fundamentalism… so I’m not surprised - sincerely a non hijabi Muslim woman 😊
To avoid creeps
@@unitedcoloursofAfg You cannot be Muslim and say another one of your sisters is “brainwashed.” THE QURAN says showing your hands and face are the BARE MINIMUM of modesty. Educate yourself on your OWN religion before speaking low on others and judging them. Who do you think you are? You think you’re one to judge? You think you’re the best judge? Get real.
It’s primarily cultural, I believe. And personal choice. I’m Jewish, not Muslim, but I live in a predominantly Muslim neighborhood so I know a lil bit
Educational, thank you
One of the best wigs I've seen!
Any male she(muslim) can't marry or have direct blood relation is allowed to see her hair(Father,Son,Brother,GrandFather[Paternal & Maternal]) & every woman is allowed to see her hair.
Thank God I’m christian
Technically Christian women are supposed to keep their hair covered too
My name's Mubina too😅❤
I’m so grateful I am not expected to cover.
I'm surprised she's allowed to be in a video letting anybody hear her speak
Beautiful oppressive religion
They even try to justify it
Aged like milk.
Nice video❤
I know of several Muslim women who allow their hair to be seen, are they less Muslim than you? As for the wigs, are they synthetic or real hair, if real does it have to be human? If synthetic how do you dispose of them without adding plastic to the environment?
On wigs, it doesn't matter. And no, according to Islam every believer is equal no matter how devout they are.
(I can't speak for plastics.)
What about an eeg ( it’s where u have to get wires glued to ur head to check if u have seizures) I have this and I hate it 😢
Omg I hate those 😭 the glue they leave in your hair is the worst and takes forever to get out
I have done ECGs and MRIS. I had to take my hijab off for it. But my ECG staff was all female.
@@rhiahb omg yessssss I’ve ripped out like crazy amounts of hair 😭
@@MehdinaTV ya I get mris as well I have epilepsy and they suck my fear of needles is crazy lol
But the real question is why?
Pride
Is Gatorade zero sugar halal
I believe in free religion for all. That being said, why don’t the men have to cover hair or anything else??? I find it unfair, and I find myself feeling sorry for you. I feel you aren’t free-which isn’t right.
A woman's hair is connected to her pride, hence why all 3 religious books say women are to keep their hair covered
It has been a while
I don't understand why all females can see your real hair but no males because that would mean it's about attractiveness/sexuality/modesty..and you are still wearing beautiful wigs and fully down and exposed for that matter so..?? Nor do I understand why the niqab is legal in America smh. It's unsettling not to be able to see people's faces and it's against our values regarding women. Covering just your hair is a totally different matter than covering your face
What is with the hair?
Hair is a form of pride for women, hence why all 3 Abrahamic books say that women are to keep their hair covered

I have a question...
In your opinion, if a Muslim does not always wear a hijab, and eats non halal food, but they still believe in Allah and the prophet (and some other stuff), are they still are proper Muslim??
No of course not
If they know that it's haram (impermissable) to do that but are still doing it, then yes, they are still Muslim.
@@Simplysidrayes believing in Allah and only Allah is Muslim. There's no rules to bring Muslim but there are things that are haram
If you put dunya over deen you aren’t a proper Muslim, period. Especially if they KNOW it’s wrong and have the ability to control their actions.
Nice😊
What's with the hair anyway .
Shave it off .
Problem solved ?
Hi mubina love your videos please reply to me
Jazzak Allah khair
She's not a Muslim, she's a clown
Do women who talk from behind a sheet realise how disrespectful this is to people who rely on reading lips and facial expressions to communicate?
You become less human when you can’t be seen for what and who you are. Your expression and humanity are dampened.
