I think the best writing might've been at the very end, when Woops choose both Jess and the canister and Nina picked the canister, resulting in her death. That feels like what she'd have done canonically, she only 'helped' when it was convenient and tried to kill nearly every person she met, then befriended them in a deal to help herself. Man, I loved this stream.
I seem to recall when this game originally released you couldn't just spam any key and you were punished for doing that, it made playing it truly suffering.
It's a shame we'll never get a next gen sequel to this Imagine how detailed they could make these 15 year old girl deaths. Fuck no wonder they put this in the dark corner to think about what its done.
I think the story of this game does a decent job of complementing that of the original film. I just wish there was actual gameplay. But, Telltale's gonna Telltale... Oh wait, no they won't.
This game is pretty fun in terms of plot, gameplay at times is torture or boring but nostalgia keeps me from being too bothered by it. The deaths are both horrible and hilarious though.
