Problem is you can’t just go out and buy a social circle . If you’re isolated with contributing factors like odd working hours , rural living , age .. you’re kinda screwed. At least that’s how this feels to me.
Oh that's a load of garbage. The more people in your life, the more they're there to just game you, game the system, etc. Everyone's just playing office politics even when it's not a work-situation... That's reality. Some of us have finally just wised up to it, had enough of it, and said goodbye forever. That's the only measure of sanity available to many people - when there's no one else around and, for once, we can hear ourselves think.
Loneliness. Some have characterized it as an unfillable void in the spirit. I say seek the Creator n healthy relationships in church, join volunteering opportunities, otherwise join a bird watching club, or reading 📚 club. There are places where to go meet real people. Avoid the bars and other empty places Ruth Graham has just written a great book on the subject n offers solutions. ❤️
