How To Remove Stuff IN FRONT of Subjects in Photoshop | Sneaky Little Hack for Foreground Foliage

  • Yeah, the title is right - this is a handy little hack for removing things from in front of the subject in photoshop. We've covered actually removing stuff in photoshop multiple times before, but this is different. We're not actually removing anything, we're just altering the pixels to show something else instead.
As I mention in the video itself, this method of removing things in Photoshop doesn't always work - it is a case by case basis but for green plants over the subject, it tends to be about 85% successful and relatively quick when you have got the hang of it. Remember to mask carefully around the edges though, because this will make or break your faux removal!

It must be my age, but when I watch your videos, I can help but think about how proud your parents should be of you. If my daughter ends up with half the talent and charm you have, I’ll be a proud happy dad. 🙏

I got someone with like 20 white stripes of light in front of it from light painting. You think this will work for it? I think the original color behind the white is completely gone.

Hey Jess photographer person, a question, on this video you show us a way of removing something obstructing the image, is there a way of removing something behind though ? e.g. I am doing a horse portrait with white whiskers on the chin and behind the whiskers is the clip and lead rope, is there a way of removing the lead rope without affecting the whiskers ? if that makes sense 🤔 thanks

Hi Darren, yes there is, you can do almost anything in photoshop. I have a video that I have previously released on this topic which can be found at ruclips.net/video/bGEFB9TMcII/видео.html
      Hope that helps
