You can also look up the version from “The Show” and react to that. Same set, same costumes, slightly more consistent editing. Both are great, just offering a second option because I couldn’t un-see Jennie’s shoe thing once I saw it. You would also probably love the version of “Ddu-Du Ddu-Du” from “The Show.” It’s very extra.

Maybe you should consider trying these reaction with the color coded Lyrics even if sometimes the traduction kinda strange but still really good. If you check out their channel (you have it book-marked by now, I trust?), under their "Performance" sub-channel they may have the SBS performances, if not check them out on YT. There are at least 3 different versions, including the Corden show, with each girl taking turns at being outstandingly gorgeous - and they already set the bar rather high.

Great breakdown! Just a couple of clarifications in regards to the references in the lyrics. Lots of the lyrics address different hate they’ve gotten in the past that hard core blinks recognize but prob isn’t too easy to decipher for more casual listeners. Born skinny b*tch isn’t necessarily referring to body dsymorphia others see it’s bluntly addressing Lisa being called “anorexic” “lady boy” “unhealthily skinny” and other derogatory terms for being thin When Jennie says “f*ck boys not my boys” it’s addressing the many “dating scandals” that Jennie has been dragged for (she’s saying she “f*ck boys” aren’t for her. Believe it or not, dating for a Kpop idol is a scandal given the obsession of their fans (even though it’s perfectly normal behavior for a human being) and Jennie has received insane amounts of hate bc bc of rumors that she has dated. Blinks have said stuff like I hope you leave BP bc you always bring dating scandals. The Dududu reference is referring to their most popular song Ddududu. So your interpretation is correct but they are literally saying if you don’t know us look up the views on Dududu (ie we’re the biggest in the world so if you’ve never heard of us or aren’t impressed that’s a you problem) Anyways if you were saying this and I misunderstood I apologize but just wanted to clarify a bit bc the lyrics are addressing v specific hate they get but not clear to some who don’t know all the background that these girls have gone through

rose is actually singing the korean word "bichi" which means "to shine" or "be bright". lisa is actually singing the word "bitch". most koreans are fully aware what "bichi" sounds like in english just like their word for "I" or "you" which sounds like the N-word. Thus, if you watch the live version of this song, the korean broadcast censor lisa's "bitch", but not rose's "bichi".
I am not sure about this but - but I think rose only says the b***h thing only when the line goes - we're some b**ches and not in the preceding line . I assume in the preceding line it means shining - similar to how it goes in jennies solo( in the chorus).

If you check out their channel (you have it book-marked by now, I trust?), under their "Performance" sub-channel they may have the SBS performances, if not check them out on YT. There are at least 3 different versions, including the Corden show, with each girl taking turns at being outstandingly gorgeous - and they already set the bar rather high.

Blackpink is a very popular girl group and it reached its peak too quickly. Other idols take longer This is the reason why anti have created a problem of hating them with envy.
Great breakdown! Just a couple of clarifications in regards to the references in the lyrics. Lots of the lyrics address different hate they’ve gotten in the past that hard core blinks recognize but prob isn’t too easy to decipher for more casual listeners.
Born skinny b*tch isn’t necessarily referring to body dsymorphia others see it’s bluntly addressing Lisa being called “anorexic” “lady boy” “unhealthily skinny” and other derogatory terms for being thin
When Jennie says “f*ck boys not my boys” it’s addressing the many “dating scandals” that Jennie has been dragged for (she’s saying she “f*ck boys” aren’t for her. Believe it or not, dating for a Kpop idol is a scandal given the obsession of their fans (even though it’s perfectly normal behavior for a human being) and Jennie has received insane amounts of hate bc bc of rumors that she has dated. Blinks have said stuff like I hope you leave BP bc you always bring dating scandals.
The Dududu reference is referring to their most popular song Ddududu. So your interpretation is correct but they are literally saying if you don’t know us look up the views on Dududu (ie we’re the biggest in the world so if you’ve never heard of us or aren’t impressed that’s a you problem)
Anyways if you were saying this and I misunderstood I apologize but just wanted to clarify a bit bc the lyrics are addressing v specific hate they get but not clear to some who don’t know all the background that these girls have gone through

rose is actually singing the korean word "bichi" which means "to shine" or "be bright". lisa is actually singing the word "bitch". most koreans are fully aware what "bichi" sounds like in english just like their word for "I" or "you" which sounds like the N-word. Thus, if you watch the live version of this song, the korean broadcast censor lisa's "bitch", but not rose's "bichi".
