The person who created these songs , Hiroyuki sawano was the guy playing the piano. His work is amazing and masterfully made.
Personally the composer Sawano is up there with Han Zimmer. These are some of the most masterful soundtracks ever.
My top 5 are John Williams, Hans Zimmer, Hirayuki Sawano, Ludwig Gorransson, Ramin Djawadi. And Kevin Penkin will likely take a spot in the future one day.

AOT has some of the best OST's
The* best
Even though other anime have better OSTs here and there, this one is the best anime soundtrack overall. And my second favorite soundtrack of all time behind the Pirates of the Caribbean suite. Which is Hans Zimmer, so that's saying something.
I personally disagree I think made in abyss has the best ost over all but aot is definitely up there
@@andreasjensen6617 Made in Abyss is in my top 5. It's a pity they didn't use all of Kevin's composition for season 2 and reused the season 1 tracks instead. Apparently it was masterful.

Teji was ABSOLUTELY right at around 14:20 onward. The moment this song plays is widely viewed as not only THE pivotal moment of the early show, but a story beat that turned the perspective of the show upside down. Attack on Titan is not only one of the most popular animes, but it held a spot as one of the top TV shows in the world at one point.

Hiroyuki Sawano is the guy on the piano btw and on the synth is Kohta Yamamoto another great composer that did the ost for AoT final season also sawano's student/apprentice

Attack on Titan has the best soundtrack I've heard in my life, I'll never get tired of listening to it. I'm so glad this story got such an amazing adaptation, the animation is beautiful and the switch of studios came at the perfect time, the voice acting is god tier and the soundtrack goes crazy too, it's perfect.
As we get to the end, hearing these songs again make me tear up because I know I’ll never get to experience these moments (for the first time) again. Such a great show.

You should have them listen to Unravel, so many crazy instrument combinations in that song. Some other suggestions: MUKANJYO (Vinland Saga), Comedy (Spy Family), This Game (No Game No Life), Crying for Rain (Domestic Girlfriend). All go so hard
Hiroyuki Sawano is hands down my favorite composer, pretty much all his works are bangers. I highly suggest you check out his work in Aldnoah Zero, Gundam Unicorn, Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress, and Eighty- Six.

A little correction: Eren is not a german name like Jeager. Eren is a turkish name. But if I remember correct even the creator of AOT doesn't know Eren is a turkish name. There are too many turks living in germany and also the creator is living there too. the name of Eren means in turkish is "the saint" or " A person who is believed to have seen certain facts with his/her extraordinary intuition." if you want to check you can check turkish dictionaries. So , eren is not a german name but jeager is a german name. Also in turkey, people mostly start attack on titan because of name eren. They say "the main chracter is turk :D" of course they usually dont know jeager part but that's fact the eren is a turkish name. About Isayama, I read somewhere the he lived in germany in a period of time.

I highly recommend watching the anime. Not only is it one of the most powerful stories I’ve ever watched but knowing the scenes that go to these tracks just make you appreciate the music so much more. The emotion to the music is not the same when you don’t know the scenes that go with them.

Just wait till you watch the show and see how they implement these songs. They hit so much harder in the scenes they're attached to. So much so, that when I listen to these songs, I relive the moments in the show where they played. One of the best OSTs ever created.

In AoT the cities (eg the one Eren comes from) is/are also build from real german villages (building styles and all that) so the language fits... Allthough tbh if you don't know its german you dont hear it most of the time without the lyrics even as native xD

Even with the new composer, the styles are very similar. The two worked together on an anime, so for Kohta Yamamoto to pick up the torch for AOT, it’s fitting.

the craziest shit about this is somehow he makes every new song for the show feel like you've heard it before but its not even remotely similar to the previous one. When you watch the show you literally always feel like you've heard the song before but then when you break down each one on its own later you realize its a completely different song idk if that makes sense lol.

The OPs spoil a lot, especially in the beginning when people don’t know about shifters. I’d advise against watching the OPs before getting into the show.
