apink is about to have their 10th year anniversary in april!! there is a ton of content but you’ll have a lot of fun. one of the funniest idol groups (in my opinion) and all of the members are super sweet.
APink isn't a group I've ever deliberately followed but they are just so consistently GOOD. Like, an incredibly solid group, I'm so glad for their success and that they're still going strong! (in a related note, my boy Sandeul has been saying for *literally ten years now* that he wants to duet with Eunji [APink's mainvo] so someone definitely needs to make that happen XD)

APink is a group that debuted in 2011 with a cute concept and did not depart from it until almost 2018, since 2018 they have moved away from a cute concept to a sexy one. APINK is a 10-year-old group that is still considered popular, which releases incendiary hit songs, which tops major music charts in Korea, which is engaged in both group activities and solo activities. Over the past 10 years, the band has won more than 100 awards at various music shows, awards and festivals. They are the only female group to win all 17 awards at a music show in 2014 with the song "LUV", which still holds the record for the most wins at a music show with 17 wins among all female groups at the moment. No one has yet been able to break their record.
I always end up watching Apink's variety content because they are so funny and weird, just naturally entertaining xD They are also such sweethearts in real life, which is probably why they've lasted 10 years in this industry! Thanks for reacting~

The group that got me into kpop, it's always so fun to go back to their older stuff. Another recommendation for LUV in particular, I believe it still holds the record for most music show wins by a girl group! (With GFriend's Rough and Navillera right behind it IIRC.) It also came out in 2014, so that was their big year, LUV and Mr Chu were huge. But No No No from 2013 was sort of their breakthrough, their first win on a major music show I believe.
I'm So Sick was their big concept change after a few years with less success. With groups like GFriend, Red Velvet and Twice debuting the competition was of course fierce! They tried something a bit different in 2016 with Only One (from the aptly titled Pink Revolution album, which is excellent), but to little success (sadly, I love the song personally).
A lot of younger idols really look up to them, not least for their teamwork and longevity. (Monday for instance seems to be a huge Apink fangirl. Also Yena, Chaeryoung too I believe, April, just off the top of my head.) I think their leader Chorong has had a lot to do with that.
They also have a bunch of fun variety/reality stuff!

You should definitely check out Apink News, Apink Showtime and Apink Weekly Idol episodes. They’re one of the funniest girl groups out there! Besides their songs, I really love their personalities and their bond. My fave title track of them is LUV you check that out! And my bias is Chorong the leader. My biases are almost all leaders and the eldest in their groups! Coincidence? 😍😅 Apink 10th year Anniversary on April! 😊🙏🏻

Edit: Also the album version of Mr Chu is really different to the MV version and I like it a lot better

Thanks for making this video, I have known them since the NoNoNo era (2013) but I haven't gotten to know any further and yes, I have fallen in love with them since 2019 when I first heard the song I'm so sick, yeah it's such a very nice song you know that right? Since then I started to find out about them and the more I find out I am increasingly made to fall in love, they are very talented people. I advise you to listen to their songs like secret, dingdong, the wave,boom pow love, etc and don't miss to see nonono and luv on Yu Huiyeol's Sketchbook

Basically the last guardians of 2nd gen GGs. I know others are still around, but none of them still promote regularly. I’m so glad they’re still killing the charts and feeding us with QUALITY after almost 10 years!
Yes! An iconic 2nd Gen group! They’re one of the very very few older groups who’s not only active but continuously making music. For years, they held on to this more pure innocent concept, even as they got older. Ofcourse more recently they started adding more mature look but there’s something about APink’s elegance and innocence vibes that’s still there. They were always good at portraying “cute” without being overly crindgy. Also, if I remember correctly, all members have made their acting debuts so if you watch Kdramas before, you may have seen them.

Yeah!! The MV is made by Digipedi, the same company behind Loona’s, newer Orange Caramel’s, old Dreamcatcher and so much more (including Winner’s Sentimental, which I recall you liked)! I feel like they are responsible for the quintessential of what makes kpop aesthetic unique
