  • Hey everyone, Charitha here with some fascinating insights on UAE jobs! According to a new #LinkedIn report, #GenZ workers in the #UAE 🇦🇪 are emerging as leaders in climate action, despite facing significant challenges. They're grappling with 'eco-anxiety', with 56% feeling the mental toll of climate concerns. Nevertheless, a solid 59% have already begun adopting lifestyle changes to reduce their carbon footprint. 🌍🌱
But here's the twist: while their passion for environmental causes is strong, only 15% of green-skilled professionals in the UAE belong to Gen Z, compared to a significant 65% from the #millennial generation. The UAE ranks second in the #MENA region for its concentration of green talent across various age groups. 📊
However, the path to green careers isn't without obstacles-63% of these young talents are frustrated by the lack of green job opportunities. Despite this, 59% are preparing to enter green employment within the next five years. What motivates them? It's their deep environmental values 💚 and the promise of better salaries 💸.
To close this gap, substantial financial support, employer initiatives, and government incentives are crucial.
So, are you ready to join the green revolution?
