Dude. Thanks for being honest about your depression. You are NOT alone. Metallica got me through major bouts of depression in high school and college. They are the Micheal Jordan of bands. Period. I get professional help for my depression now, but Metallica probably saved my life before I could get help. Keep being honest, allow yourself to feel your feelings, and never give up!
Thanks for nice reaction video. Few recommendations: - Creeping Death, definitely live from Moscow 1991. Legendary concert from Russia, with over 1 million people in the audience. Excellent heavy metal song with nice solo. Nearly unmatched energy of the band and the show. - Fight Fire with Fire. Live from Brazil 2022, their very recent show. Example of their current performance, example of how they still rock even being near 60 years old. - Battery, live from Seattle 1989. One of their fastest songs, example of their trash style when they were still young, as a contrast to the previous suggestion. - Fade to Black. Heavy and beautiful ballad with deep sad message, one of their classics. Studio version is recommended, you can hear the guitar solo fully, as it's voted high on some best guitar solo votes. - The Day that Never Comes. Don't go for music video, it distracts too much and is not so connected to song's story. Better to choose live version, for example from Quebec Magnetic show. - The Call of Ktulu, Munich, Germany August 23, 2019 live version. Bit different, pure instrumental piece. It's worth to focus on bass doing some interesting stuff, kinda representing the beast in the background. Enjoy the Metallica journey!
YOU SHOULD REACT TO "DISPOSABLE HEROES", "BLACKENED", "SPIT OUT THE BONE" AND "THE JUDAS KISS". OF COURSE LIVE PERFORMANCES, ENJOY THIS METALLICA'S JOURNEY MY FRIEND!!!! 🤘🏼🎶
Live versions. Dyers Eve, Orion(instrumental), All Nightmare Long, Judas Kiss, Sanitarium, etc. just pick one. There's a live version of it and I guarantee you you'll like it.
Metallica sounds this good live, seen them a few times. James voice has changed since this video but they are spot on still especially instrumentally they have always been that good.
hiya ive been into metallica since 1986 master era. I was leaving school when seatlle came out. 49 now and still loving the fab 4. Try fade to black or sanitarium from seattle
Like Nightwish, in most cases the live performance is better, but for this song the story shown in the official music video is so powerful. You need to check out this music video as well, in order to really understand this song. As for the length of a song, it would depend on how good it is, and changes during the song, to avoid being too repetitive.
Original music video is horrible. At least for the first listen. Covers the beautiful song with lo-fi chopped-off voice snippets. It's insufferable to first-listen.
I saw this tour when I was sixteen and it was AMAZING! They played around three hours with two encours. They were at the top of their game here. They closed the first set with ...And Justice For All that ended with tons of pyro and this giant statue of Blind Justice (from the album cover) in the back crumbled and the lighting rigs blew up and started swinging around. THEN they played for another hour. Haha. I saw the Black tour after this also and it was good, but not like this show! Sorry for the long post. Memories!
Metallica is Metallica for a reason. I don’t know how else to describe them. And whatever issues you’re going through, you have a friend in Puerto Rico 🇵🇷! 🤘
YO, hope you feel better mentally, I know what it's like being in a depression hole. Side note, a lot of people make fun of Lars ulrich's drum skills, but back in 1986-1991 no one could tell me he wasn't fucking killer. I personally think he just got lazy. I remember seeing an article about how he felt like during that time he had to compete with all the other thrash metal drummers who were incredibly talented themselves. But over time he stopped caring about being the best, shame because I think AJFA is the best showcase of his abilities.
In most caes, the live version would be better. But the thing with this song is that the lyrics is very good, and sadly all of the lyrics and the entire meaning of the song obviously went right over your head. You should definitely make another video reacting to the music video and focusing more on the lyrics. Great reaction otherwise.
You have so many Metallica-bangers ahead of you 🔥🔥🔥🤘🤘🤘….btw; welcome to the Metallica-family 🤘🤘🤘. Metallica is one the very few bands / artists playing live performances in studio-quality….in fact in many cases even better. React to Master of Puppets live in Manchester 2019 playing it flawlessly in front of a 75,000 fans crowd going fully in while RAINING cats and dogs. It will blow your mind…..and when you have adapted to “Tallica” you will be permissioned to “Creeping Death” live in Moscow 1991 in front a crowd that will leave you sleepless at night 🔥🔥🔥🤘🤘🤘. Metallica-performances are above and beyond. I have seen them live 18 times
Heeey. Dope reaction. :) I would be really happy if you check out one of Metallicas songs live from 2022. They are still kicking ass. You can find their latest concerts on the official Metallica youtube channel. Thanks.

Same here. Metallica was there when depression hit. ❤
Greatest band in history!

The next one is Creeping Death from the same live. It's sick...check it out
BTW, yes James is that good live, he doesnt need any filters or post editing help...

Every Metallica song is better than anything in the last 10 years.
No offense, but how are you a metalhead when you can't tolerate we harsh vocals?
Best concert of all time ruclips.net/video/RL84JVt6sjs/видео.html
Huh? 😂 who said I don’t like harsh vocals? I am not a huge fan of Deathcore pig squeals…they’re completely different things…
How he cannot of heard of this song either... metal essentials
