Ko Phi Phi Viewpoint

This is the viewpoint on Ko Phi Phi Don Island, in Krabi province in Southern Thailand. It was taken just before sunset, at about 6pm on New Year's Eve 2012. The two bays are Ton Sai Bay on the left, and Lodalum Bay on the right, with the popular tourist area of Ton Sai village on the narrow isthmus between the two. On the left in the background is Ko Phi Phi Leh Island, famous for Maya Bay, where the Danny Boyle movie 'The Beach', starring Leonardo DiCaprio was filmed.
