Not easy to do in that wind and tight quarters. You are a fantastic captain with amazing control, well done!

Thanks! Not many people notice that this is difficult. You must have been in a similar situation?

@@MyBoatandMylife Yes of course! :) haha... While my boat is much smaller and more fishing type of vessel, even a lifetime of boating and fishing still brings challenges! But always at the end of the day we are happy and enjoying life and the water with friends and family like you. ruclips.net/video/Qhijqzq9pac/видео.html

Hi Henrik, thanks for posting these vids, I've enjoyed watching them and seeing again some of the beautiful places we were fortunate to visit last summer. As a coincidence, you can see our boat at 3:12 :).

Looks like you were doing this single handed....not an easy task. Is your boat an inboard boat or I/O? If inboard, I was wondering why you were using the steering wheel on the boat while you were at slow speeds. Your rudder is generally ineffective at these speeds. Your only options are differential thrust and bow/stern thrusters. Just curious, if you don't mind answering me.

Hi. I have inboard with chafts. On this boat there is a big difference when you're helpered with the rudder.
Its oblygt me on the Boat.

Of course the rudder is effective at low speeds on a shaft drive, as long as there is drive from the prop. When coasting without power, the small rudder typical of a planing power boat, whill not provide much directional assistance, but, with judicisiously applied bursts of throttle, one can effect tight manoevres. It is true that you will do a lot of winding, but it works. Anyway, bowthrusters are for babies. "Differential thrust" What a posh and space saving term! "Okay chaps, now hear this; I am applying Differential Thrust in 3-2-1, stand by"

Agreed , steering takes too much time and concentration away.
