I actually really love the RG351P, and a major factor in it, not to sound too sycophantic, is this channel. As is when it comes out of the box, the games and the built in interface in that device are far from optimized, but the guides presented here made it as personal and easy to use for me. I am now too lazy now to research how to make devices work for me, so all the process being streamlined in the videos and website really helped. So thank you Russ.

Glad to hear you're taking the time to actually enjoy some of these games yourself.
I've wanted some sort of dedicated emulation handheld for YEARS, but I always hesitated to buy one, waiting for the "perfect" device or just ending up second-guessing myself. Your channel helped to finally convince me to buy an RG351V a few months ago and I LOVE it.
I was really in the mood for some Pokémon at the time and ended up playing a couple rom hacks back to back first, Unbound and Gaia, and enjoyed both (first rom hacks I've played, also). As someone with a lot of nostalgia surrounding Pokémon and especially the GB/C/A line of handhelds, it was a really special feeling to have what essentially felt like a 2021 Game Boy playing a "new" Pokémon game in that GBA style that I loved as a kid.
Now I'm playing through the Battle Network games again; almost done with the first game. This series was half of the reason I even wanted a handheld after getting tired waiting for Capcom to release an official collection of them, so I'm excited to be replaying them through in order.
So thank you for what you do. Your videos are always very well made and really helped me to choose a first device that fit for me.

I do have my phone, I do have my PC, I do have a Raspberry Pi 3B, all kinds of home consoles and even a 2DS I could use for the same purpose but the V90 is so much more convenient. It takes up such little space and the clamshell design makes me feel very safe to throw it in a bag without fear of anything scratching the screen. I love this thing. This totally brought it home for me. I never had a decent handheld as a kid (just the original Mario game & watch, sadly lost now), so the last few years I decided to find one that fit me to play all those fun games from my childhood. After breaking myself in with the tiny pocket go (actually amazing little handheld), I upgraded to the anbernic rg280v and rg351v. I used your videos to set them up just the way I like ‘em, and pretty much settled in for the last few months doing exactly what I planned: playing thru all my childhood favorites. And while the wood boy is superior in a lot of ways, and definitely my main, the rg280v is perfect to take on the go. What’s more, I almost appreciate its look more than its bigger sibling. It truly is an amazing balance in a perfect little package. Thanks for this video, and your simple setup tutorials. I know I would have struggled so much more to get where I wanted if I hadn’t found them. Keep up the good work, but glad you took some time to play. Cheers. Be well.

I have a 351v and it runs with no issues. I've had PSone games crash when I use the fast forward functionality but other than that no issues. Xenogears is a fantastic game, I'm not too far though I don't think (maybe a little under halfway) and it's my first playthrough. I tend to play 3 different RPGs at the same time though so who knows when I'll jump back on it. The themes are so cool though, I like the story better than the xenoblade games so far.

Not too long after I got a Vita and did the same. But i found it a bit big (and expensive) to take out and play on the bus and such. So i got one or these, the rg280v. I wanted a miyoo mini but those are very hard to find. I don't regret my decision one bit, this thing is awesome, very cheap, fairly easy to setup, looks and feels good, and is more powerful than my 3DS and PSP!
