I feel as if rise harkens back to older gen games like Generations Ultimate. Styles are now switch skills, wirebugs are the sp gauges, and afflicted monster are the same as hyper. The extra flexibility and choice with each weapon in rise adds so much replayability, along with the new and reprised weapon attacks (not to mention the insane armor skills in sunbreak). I wish people were more openminded to both games being beautiful experiences in their own rite
Combatwise Rise is absolutely freaking awesome. I very much like playing Longsword and Swaxe. Rise swaxe is the best in its iterations and I don't think wilds won't even top that. Also learning charge blade now been using axe hopper attack it's do much fun man I am sad these fun moves won't be available anymore in wilds
as a world enthusiast who just beat sunbreak, the combat is so fast-paced and fluid, its awesome! Both games have very different combat and weapons for different people, I mean they basically made my main Horn into a new weapon, and while I do agree the combat is awesome, I feel its a bit overtuned, Worldborne really made you think about what you are doing, and I feel thats not really there in rise, but good for you for enjoying it!
@@PickIeJuice I respect how you specifically are a normal person. However, I have an ample amount of evidence to prove you wrong. The world enjoyers are the minority.
I have no idea why there's this war between the world and rise enjoyers. Like they're both good games but the moment you say you like one of them some weirdo is just gonna jump in, tell you why its bad and then call you an idiot. Like its just a game and people have fun in their own ways some like the slower pace of tracking along with strategizing their fights and some like the fast pace of running in and kicking the shit out of like 3 monsters. I personally really like both, though I have a preference for rise due to my love of a faster pace action. People just need to stop slinging vile hate just because someone like the same game but slightly to the left
I think this is just because the series is mainstream now. So the new players don't understand the difference between mainline and portable entries . So they'll just compare the two most recent ones
Rise focused on fast and fun combat with, mostly, interesting and fun fights. Veteran fans loved Rise for what it is. The only people to actually not like Rise are World fans that prefer to play walking simulators more than Action RPGs.
@@Dr.AvenVon there's a word called "minority" for that. Minority of old fans didn't like rise for whatever reason idk. That's because you have such a huge moveset pool and build variety, until you get the hang of it you will never get it. I had to come back to the game three times until I got sucked into Longsword and switch axe playstyles. Swaxe do much better in rise now it's insane
@@moonrabbit2334I put 120 hours into rise, did some anomalies but decided that it wasn't worth the time and effort and the feeling of playing a boss rush instead of monster hunter really kills it for me
World is boring and bland is what it is. No hunter arts, no diverse moveset, washed out colors instead of high contrast colors on old gen and so on. Only thing it has is graphics I give you that. It's pretty to look at but the combat is skin deep compared to rise or any old gen mh

No it's just the world Stans being cringy I'm so happy you'll like this game. It's one of my all-time favorites 👍
Us World enjoyers have a very vocal and hateful minority, most of us are chill, just like Rise enjoyers

This. World babies whine too much.

Sunbreak makes it like 10 times better too.
The world fans are like rise is not world so it’s bad please immediately stop saying some bull like that

Yeah the new fans from world made the fanbase cringe lol
Dude world is an amazing experience there’s a reason it’s capcoms best selling game, it’s okay to not like a game, there’s nothing wrong with opinions
wrong, many old fans also don't like rise. it isn't just world newcomers.
this is the only argument rise fanboys ever bring, it is so funny

It's because of World babies whining as their first MH game.
Monster Hunter esp. Sunbreak is incredibly fun
