this is so cool! im in 8th grade and i currently run a 1230 2 miles and im trying to get it down
SO excited for this channel hope!! any tips for not getting tired when you run? and how do you stay motivated during your runs??
thank you!! for not getting tired, you first have to gradually build up your distance and time you're running for and that will build your endurance. if you feel really tired while you're running that prob means you need to slow down some. for motivation, i like to listen to podcasts and kinda zone out and just listen to those. i really like the convos over cold brew podcast bc she interviews tons of different runners and that also helps motivate me. hope this helps!!

do u have any tips for getting into running ?!
start really easy!! the first two weeks are the hardest but once you get through them you won't deal with side stitches and soreness nearly as much if at all. once you've built a base you can start adding in some faster runs and hill runs!!

How many minutes do u normally run every day?
i go more based off of mileage than minutes bc i like to have exact distances, but it really depends on the day. i usually hit 20-25 miles a week, so 2.5-3.5 miles on my easy days and a little more if im doing a long run or hills

I tried to run a mile for like the first time yesterday and it took me over 11 minutes and I only made it 0.86 miles.
I didn’t finish because my stomach started feeling like rly bad period cramps even tho I’m not even on my period. Is that normal?
that's great that you're trying running! your first week to two weeks of running will be hard and you will prob feel cramps, but if you keep at it it will go away. when you get cramps, slow down and focus on your breathing. as long as you're consistent and ease into running, you'll be able to run without any cramps really soon!
