I wasn't involved in the permitting, as this isn't my property. But I do know that there is another house on the land that is their primary residence. From personal experience, many counties in northern GA have a bit more flexibility with secondary structures.

How hard was permitting for this? I want to build a similar structure in GA but I've read that permitting can be a challenge.
