Again, just gotta applaud Sean for giving nothing away while still being able to drove forward a conversation. You're being a heck of a guide, my dude.
While I was definitely expecting the tears from Angel, I think this is probably the first time he’s looked that worried before the actual death. You can just tell he was thinking, “Please don’t kill him!” 😟 It never gets easier in this show and my heart goes out to Angel.🤗😢
Dear Angel, from the other side of the world, from someone who had nothing to do with putting you up to this this, I'm sorry. I'm still traumatized from that final scene. All the love, hope you're ok, Jarrod. HOW COULD YOU DO THIS SEAN YOU MONSTER 😂
I always thought that the beetle conversation was really about Tyrion's belief that he was about to die, and trying to get the answer to a question that has haunted him before he does
Robert's Paternal Grandmother was Rhaelle Targaryen. Rhaegar's Grandfather was Jaehaerys II Targaryen. Rhaelle and Jaehaerys II were siblings, meaning Robert and Rhaegar were second cousins. Robert should consider himself lucky Westeros didn't coin a term for killing cousins.
Pedro fell asleep during his death scene. It was a very hot day the day they shot the battle & the blood they pumped through was so cooling and soothing, Pedro fell asleep.
I'd quibble on that, but honestly it's a subjective thing; I could explain exactly which death I think is most brutal but from your perspective what I think is brutal may not compare to what you consider brutal, yknow? My bad; I'm stoned and totally lost the thread of what I was saying. 😅
I’ve been waiting for this, because I remember watching this when it first aired and in some ways my psyche still hasn’t recovered from it. Still one of the greatest and most horrific moments in the series.
They don’t explain it on the show but Ramsey sends Theon to get the Ironborn to surrender Moat Cailin because that fortress holds the Neck which is narrow marshy bit of land separating the North from the rest of Westeros. Even that small force of Ironborn could have been a problem for Roose Bolton returning his army to the North. And the Ironborn are in such bad shape because they’ve been under constant guerilla attack from Howland Reed’s people (who use poison darts). So that’s why they kill their commander and surrender.
i love theon tho. you gotta understand he was the sharks prisoner at one point and theon wanted to make his dad proud, but his story is one of my favorites, and how he’s changed.
"I'll guard this king, such as he is. Gregor will kill the others, such as he does. When we're done, well see who still believes in songs and fairy tales"-Sandor Clegane
“It’s so cute they’ve been [traumatized into not being comfortable following their own feelings].” I know what you meant Sean but I couldn’t help but be like, “that isn’t cute 😅”
One of the most epic moments in the series.... so powerful. Oberyn is definitely one of the best characters in the whole show. So much color & charisma to his personality!!! I loved him as everyone did, it seems, from his first moments on screen! Lol. Now that I have read the books, tho, it makes me SO sad how diluted the material from certain storylines became in the show! :( they did so good through Storm of Swords!!!
That fight scene was horrible enough to read, and I still to this day will not look at the squishy part in the show. I covered half the screen with my hand and watched Angel's face instead, because it's still intact. Sorry, buddy. Now we're all traumatized together.
this may have been the episode that started the bar reactions, but without the red wedding, would there even be reactions by any place anywhere??? After that event reactions started popping up everywhere. I only wish the bar had been recording at the time of season 3
Nah, I hate that fight too. It wouldve been great to have Oberyn's character around for a lot longer than what we got. When I first saw this fight, I was just pissed. Having Oberyn around all these other characters and seeing how they interacted, they shouldve kept him around a lot longer. This felt like a cheap move. Still does. We see all the other houses in detail, but hardly any of House Martell... It still pisses me off. Lol. LOVE Pedro's staff work with that spear, though. ^___^ Which.... THAT ALSO wouldve been to see more of, had we gotten more of Oberyn. Yeah... this felt like a cheap death. :/

“Today is not the day i die”
~ Prince Oberyn, the day he died
There you go, the origin of Mando never taking off his beskar helmet
This is the Way.
THE MARTEL-LORIAN!
Oberyn- “Size doesn’t matter when you’re flat on your back”
The mountain- kills Oberyn while being flat on his back 💀
Foreshadowing v2.0
KENNY THE EDITOR LMAOO
I started watching this channel when you were posting the bar reactions for S4, i can't believe it's been 10 years already...
absolutely fuckin insanity
I'm here, notification on. Oh Angel, give him a big hug from me from across the pond 😥
Again, just gotta applaud Sean for giving nothing away while still being able to drove forward a conversation. You're being a heck of a guide, my dude.
I remember when I watched your channel and this episode.. Is it already 10 years ago?? Wow, time is merciless, like this show.

This was the episode that made me aware of the Watchers At The Bar
yup. it put us on the map
The fact that even Ellaria saw the mountain and was like “ummm wtf you’re fighting HIM?!”
24:42 I know that expression, it's the same one I had for a week after this episode
As SOON as Pedro showed up and #AngelofDeath said "Robb With Two B's who?" Oh...oh, my poor baby boy sweet summer child...
I’m so down for Angel’s reaction to watching watchers In the bar. I want him to feel the few moments that caused the room to unify in joy
oh we can't wait!
I always thought that the beetle conversation was really about Tyrion's belief that he was about to die, and trying to get the answer to a question that has haunted him before he does

Oh the dark memories of this episode
Man, season 4 ruled so hard.
"How's your headache on a scale of 1 to Oberyn Martell?"
He was doing so well until he went all Inigo Montoya on the Mountain...
Pedro fell asleep during his death scene. It was a very hot day the day they shot the battle & the blood they pumped through was so cooling and soothing, Pedro fell asleep.
Most brutal death of the whole show. As an empathetic person this scene always gets me so hard. I feel so bad for his lover to have to witness that.
I'd quibble on that, but honestly it's a subjective thing; I could explain exactly which death I think is most brutal but from your perspective what I think is brutal may not compare to what you consider brutal, yknow?
My bad; I'm stoned and totally lost the thread of what I was saying. 😅
Still find the RW more brutal on an emotional and physical level. Both are gruesome nonetheless.
I love how angel emotional getting attach to the character lol 🥹 that is exactly how I felt too in that scene
I’ve been waiting for this, because I remember watching this when it first aired and in some ways my psyche still hasn’t recovered from it. Still one of the greatest and most horrific moments in the series.
To quote Chel from El Dorado.... "This is not gonna be good."
Pedro Pascal tweeting "ouch." the night this episode aired... 🕯🌹
Eh he was fine w/ his dex build - he just played it wrong… and a little too drunk
Honestly, Baelish killing Lysa was probably the best thing that could have happened for Robin.
Love how this has come full circle with the bars reaction!

"Giving Head" 👀😁 He was a great character! Oh this was entertaining!
I never had a son but if I had a chance to adopt, I'd chose Angel. What an intelligent, sharp, empathetic young man.
Daddy Pedro should have worn a Mando helmet 😜
This was the episode that popped off and got this channel rolling! Hell yeah!
I had a similar reaction like Angel while I watched season 8
Oberyn: This is NOT the way! 🤯
Sean barely holding his emotions is my favorite type of content. So cool to relive the emtions for the first time through Angel. Brilliant!
Angel going througt exactly what I was when this aired…. I feel your pain hon 😭😭😭
i love theon tho. you gotta understand he was the sharks prisoner at one point and theon wanted to make his dad proud, but his story is one of my favorites, and how he’s changed.

That blue velvet t-shirt is dope
1:07 never seen that clip before, had me 😂😂😂
Lmfao! You’re definitely not a sweet summer child anymore. 🤣🤣🤣 Welcome to the club homie. ✊🏼😅😂
Oh Angel, you poor traumatized sweet summer child! Hugs from Boston.
If you re-watch the beginning, you will see the poison being applied to the spearhead. They are not merely polishing it. 😊
Keep these coming! Love these reactions to angel watching this ❤
24:48 👏🏼
“It’s so cute they’ve been [traumatized into not being comfortable following their own feelings].”
I know what you meant Sean but I couldn’t help but be like, “that isn’t cute 😅”
He's still a summerchild after 4 and a half seasons.
RIP . . . That played out exactly as in the book. Might need a ranking of the traumatic events of the show after all is said and done.
This episode.. never gets easier to watch. I absolutely hated this scene when I saw it the first time, and that has not changed lol. Much love Angel.
Cute lil twink with cool hair and great taste in David lynch films
Oh no. We are in the end games now.. Second half of the whole series. It's halfway over
My sweet summer child...
OG Bar reaction: ruclips.net/video/vob2_MSpXQc/видео.html
I wanna feel bad for enjoying Angels pain, I really do but I'm like Sean saying sorry while laughing.

My goat is gone. RIP King...prince...
A great episode!
Legend waiting for HOD SEASON 2❤❤
#unfuckmyseamstress ❤
They were happy 4 Ramsey and Sansa this episode. Is that what kids be calling ship?
Nah, I hate that fight too. It wouldve been great to have Oberyn's character around for a lot longer than what we got. When I first saw this fight, I was just pissed. It's probably a dumb question, but is Max Hensgon still around?
gave a like for that Blue Velvet shirt,
George giveth and George taketh away.
NO SPOILER:
But Angel reaction was mine with the 8x05.
No more comments.
Hey Sean, are the Acolyte reactions gonna be Bar reactions again? 😯
I don't think the Acolyte can work in the bar! Even Obi-Wan struggled! It looks like slow cooker, so we're gonna just go the 3 panel way!
if she were still alive i beleieve Lyssa would still be breastfeeding Robyn to this very day
"This episode"? Nah, the whole show is a bisexual's dream, believe me!
Why do I keep thinking you are calling Angel a hockey fan?
#SANSASTARKISABADASS
Hey sean can you let angel guess who’s jon’s mother just a guess
gonna let the show seed that whole thing.
