Thanks for trying to explain how rock bottom works! But I think it might be a little confusing to some people, the way you say tears down don't affect Isaac. Rock bottom sets a new floor for the stats. They will never actually go below that floor, for the character, but the stats will be lowered internaly in the game. For example, if you get a temporary +0.4 tears up, from the trinket for example, Isaac will still have that stat boost when you leave the room, but the game internally has a lower tear stat. You will only get affected by a tears up again when you get a tear boost above 0.4, either by a single item, or from many sources simultaneously, since your base stat floor is higher than the current tear stat for the game internally. The same concept applies to all stats.

Played the seed, that first sac room on floor 2 has a lot of great stuff, was able to play it to find Star of Bethlahem and found a crawlspace with camo undies, both made a huge burst of tears rate and damage, as if I had sacred heart and kidney stone. Also got Spoon Bender where Subtorium should be since I haven't unlocked Sub yet. All in all that floor 2 is huge.

Run idea: eden with the D6 deep pockets money = power but you remove the coin drops from the game and start at a reasonable amount of coins so those coins is all you have to buy with and have to pick and choose what you want to loose dmg for, thoughts?

i hadnt seen a comment about this yet but sin, im pretty sure stuff like blue spiders counts towards your friendly entities, meaning that when new spiders are spawned they were killing off some of your clotties. not like it really mattered in the end but i dont think you were ever at the clotty cap
If he would've kept perfection for a little bit, he could've touched mom's box in the shop for more luck. At that point it wouldn't matter, but it would've been funny
1 weakness of rock bottom is that you have to find it/start with it and on it's own it does you no good. Imagine terrible run, you barely got to the chest and you find only one item wich is rock bottom. In that case it's useless. It won't help you with blue baby so if you die you can't do victory lap that would save it.
I’m newer to the channel and to Isaac in general so forgive me if this is a dumb question but why do you not take items like mystical egg or boiled baby or meat cube when they don’t have any drawbacks?
For boiled baby, he doesn't like to take items that contribute to the conjoined transformation because it gives a damage down. Idk the reasoning for the other 2 tho
How would you nerf Rock Bottom? I got an idea but it doesnt really fit with its name, Remembers your actual & Highest stat, And puts it halfway between, So getting Soy Milk would still reduce your damage, But won't bring it to 0.7 from 3.5, It would be about 2.2 instead.
It isn’t that good since it’s temporary you would need lots of food items at once to actually make it go higher than your damage when you get your first food item if you need more explanation about how rock bottom works slay has a video over it
