Would like to note the phone microphone did not do the noise of the blanks justice (I think it blows out the mic). So I included the dB ratings with each demonstration. Links to the products are in the description thank you!
Great all around informative video. Bought my gen3 a while back and it rocks. Have to admit the gen4 has some unique features like working as a compact flare gun...so a couple gen4s is on my Xmas list, hint hint!
any good gun oil should to the trick. If you get our Arthur Screw Driver Kit (found under "Tripwire & Accessories" on the website), it'll come with a couple.
The perimeter trip alarms is a whole new thing I just came across so excuse potentially dumb questions, but what do you secure the other end of the trip line to? Would a fence post work? Also where do you get the blank 12G and 22 rounds for this system?
You can secure the trip wire/line to basically anything that you can tie it around. Some times people you eye-screws and tie it around that after securing it into something like a tree. And you can get the blanks off of our website FithOps.com
DO chrome silicon springs rust? I know a lot of gun companies use them, because they last forever, but I'm not sure if they're rust resistant or not. They do make stainless steel springs too, but I'm not sur if they're more expensive. I always wanted to do a study with Cerakoting springs. Cerakote is an Amazing rust preventative and it's extremely flexible. It could easily handle the flex of a spring without cracking or falling off... and he temperatures needed to cure the Cerakote are not enough to damage the spring (the 250F for H-Series anyways, I'm not sure about the 350F needed for E-Series, but 350F is probably fine too). They also have air cure Cerakote, but it's not as good. It's still a good rust preventative though and will probably beat any oil many times over for preventing rust from forming.
Would any of you guys give a widow help. My husband died we have a farm in central Illinois that we do not live on. I can not keep people from dumping , Vandalizing and stealing the oak boards out of the barn. I've tried everything. Cops are no help. Is there some kind of trip wire I can use across the driveway. At this point don't even care if I blow a hole in the there vehicle. Please help I'm out of Options.

you can also paint some epoxy or a polyurethane adhesive on the edges of the board, like several inches of the perimeter on the back, so when they go to grab it, that will not be possible to get off without solvents and stuff LOL Good luck pal! :)
U could....usa a gun? Either way youre gonna go to jail, bcus america is a shitty, useless country with no actual freedoms. so u may as well earn the confirmed and wear it with pride. Be the john dillinger of that prison.
Did you get any good advice? I'd say making the place look like it's occupied is worth looking into. Maybe you know the people neighbouring the property. A lot is budget dependent of course, you could have cctv etc and security floodlights.
If you use your brain primers will also ignite flash powder and detonate certain low density explosives my grandpa who was a korea vet told me that when I was a kid . . . ; )

When's the Gen4 going to be available on the UK Amazon site?
Would be cool to have small mountable pulleys for the trip wire for people wanting to cover a larger perimeter.
The machining on the device is gorgeous
Thank you! We take a lot of pride in the quality of our work. It makes the product cost a little bit more, but it ensures it'll be reliable for years.
Would like to see more video content from you guys. Behind the scenes stuff of product development and manufacturing would be really interesting.
Sure thing! We will work on it.

thanks for the comment! wait for November to roll around, we'll be doing some big sales. That'll be the best time to buy.
I like that screw on cap a lot better than the original one I got where the primer adapter just slides into place, good design my friends
thank you!
Since i will have mine outside constantly is there any oils or grease you recommend to prevent corrosion of the spring etc?

My OCD does not like the piece of loose skin on your thumb 😂
I'm always amazed by how many people bring this up, as I never notice until after lol
Thought I was the only one who couldn’t stop looking at it…
I was gonna say the same thing lol. I had to search the comments to see if I was the only one with the same thoughts haha.
I have been on the site and can't find the primers and 22 blanks
They are under the flashbang category
You now have a new customer.
