The game may not be the best, it is so nostalgic to me because I grew up with the tv-show and the game. So it will always have a special place in my heart.
Fox's Peter Pan & the Pirates (a.k.a. Fox's Peter Pan & the Pirates: The Revenge of the Captain Hook) for the NES by THQ, is based on the animated series Fox's Peter Pan & the Pirates, itself was based on the J.M. Barrie's Peter Pan, on Fox Kids in the early 90's. This was the first game that THQ released.
Ah yes the classic Peter pan villains -Captain Blue da ba dee da ba dy -Robert Mullins and his spitball shooter -Pterodactyl -spider -invisible campfire -long Tom the peashooter -pebbles
There's health (the blue boxes) literally everywhere, so it's impossible to die to the enemies. The only way to lose is by falling into pits due to the awful flying controls.
I must've been 4 years old last I've seen this game. Jeeeeeez. I was so bad at it I could hardly ever make it to the 2nd level and it haunted me my entire life.
Now i thought Fisher-Price firehouse rescue had a good soundtrack but this is some amazing stuff, did Tim Follin compose this? i always knew he had bad luck with game quality.
Ed Bogas. It says in the beginning. Or were you being sarcastic or something? Because to me, the music sounds mediocre. Edit: I just checked out the Fisher-Price game... I guess you were. :P
I think this game was made more as an experience rather than something really difficult you try to beat. It was definitely made for younger players who were barely starting to play video games.
I like how the credits at the beginning list the programmer at the very bottom. He probably knew this was terrible. Also, wtf is that picture at the end
I think this is way worse than Hook, that game had multiple gameplay styles, some neat ideas (that usually didn't work very well because of the controls) and it looks and feels like a legitimate game. This plays and looks like something I'd expect from Color Dreams.
I don’t know if it’s that I was 5 in 1990 or if I was just stupid...but this game was hard AF to beat without the cheat code! The level skip code I remember being really difficult to pull off (this was probably a year before my parents bought me a game genie).

wow I loved these cartoons so long ago never knew there was a videogame
I bought this on a whim back in the day just wanting to see if it was as bad as everyone said.
It is.
I have fond memories of this show in the 90s. Tim Curry played the best villains.
A very underrated cartoon series.
I agree. I remember having a huge crush on the red shirt lost boy (I think nibs?) and hook when I was 8
That description, though. xD (it might get fixed later, but it's quite poor at the moment)
Let's hope not.
I like it just the way it is
@usertheloset who knows.

I remember flying through 90% of the stages to avoid fights. This cartoon was good though, tim curry as hook.
RIP ears
This was a good Fox Kids series in the early 1990s. Pity the video game is so poorly designed.
Very
Ah, this was the first game I had ever beaten (according to my memory, anyway)
I congratulate you on your success very well.
this looks fun i hope to play soon

I remember ❤
The title theme song was heavily influenced by that for the 1940 movie _Sea Hawk._

Then why’s it so hard? 😂
ScareScraper Totals of F4 23:27 Penguin Toad
And I know you ❤
I win. It's so much fun being Peter Pan.

THQ were the true shit-meisters back in the NES era. This game isn't an exception, sadly. It's as bad as that other Hook game, if not worse.

Saludos bro eres muy bueno excelente trabajo
I still don't understand how to beat this game
Sometimes I think "took them an awfully long time to get to this game." Not this time.
Hey AVGN if you see this comment you should review this game. Thanks
Very cool strategies all enemy characters
Reminiscent of Act Raiser.
Holy fuck this is as bad as my memories of this trash game from 30 years ago.
The cartoon is way better
La musica es insufrible
В с е же многим играм не с ледовало даже выходить на свет
SOOO glad I didn't buy this when it came out. Also, Peter is such a stabby prick in this game.
I would of quit, I hate timer count down games
Bought this as a kid never finished
7
hook is better on nes.
All I remember about this trash fire of a game is how AWFUL it is control. One of the most frustrating things I've ever played.
Reasonably strong contender for worst NES game to get an Official Nintendo Seal of Quality, and I say that having liked the TV show
Lol, I think the game physics leaves a little to be desired.
Actually, the whole game is just awful.
Show was great, game was crap
the series were great but this game really sucked bad
even on 1988 there was already nes games looking better than this
I hate this fucking game! Instead of playing it, you'd be better off having a Mafia hitman jam an icepick through your ear into your brain.
