I have been a fan since forever it seems like. Seen them multiple times. Great band. They don't do anything particularly amazing or unique, but their lyrics are interesting, and the rock hard.
Just Thinking, Robert Plant & Allison Krauss releasing their second collaboration this Friday(11/19) entitled Raise The Roof. Maybe Night 2 of their 2 Night Stay at the Greek in LA from 2008 coming soon?
These guys used to be one of the coolest bands ever with the original lineup. Ed Roland has lost his mind. He looks like a clown on stage now and sounds terrible. I’m guessing he’s trying to be flamboyant and colorful like EJ but he’s not pulling it off. Damn shame.
Although he doesn't look bad here, I have to agree regarding his onstage appearance over the past few years. I've seen some pictures where he resembles Mrs. Doubtfire. Not a good look.
He does look a bit awkward, but heck, if he's having fun, the audience should be having fun. It's not as good as I remember them live, but that was a long time ago :)
I seen them in concert last September and they sounded amazing. While I didn’t see them in the 90s I can definitely say thought they put on better concerts than a good majority of bands do today !
