This episode was a lot like the one where he was with the old man in the woods. He told him to stop standing still and make a decision how he would get out. Makes me wonder if each time Al needs to make important choices he has these situations. Maybe needs to be more vested in how business is being run.

I'm thinking the term new jazz in Europe mainly there in amerstdam is the redunant name for anything black American music like rap is the next new thing in the black american music timeline so they just call it new jazz. The way Lorraine was talkin about how she hates certain things in rap lyrics makes sense for her to be calling it "new jazz". In other reaction videos they stress that Donald Glover makes it a point to have every frame of film have meaning behind it having the viewer see the episodes either at surface value or with a curator's eye that's been taught to see the things or symbolism that makes it a quality art piece. I keep wondering is New Jazz is a reference to hip-hop, since it is a genre of music that has a lineage linked to jazz, which is a genre created by Black people. Maybe New Jazz is another way of calling Paper Boi and others like him that come to the club a rapper or hip-hop artist or Black.

I wonder if this was the anniversary of his mother's death and he's still processing.
