1. I can't help but feel like it (wasn't actually meant to be a prank) because they seemed pretty damn serious until he removed himself from the situation and seeing as they are typically serving time there due to crimes involving sexual assault, it doesn't seem all that far fetched in my opinion. They were VERY good actors if it was truthfully just a joke like they ended up making it out to be on the show but also 2. I think it would be SO INCREDIBLY INTERESTING if an inmate from here was moved to a prison in a place like Norway and we could see what differences might take place with the inmate's behavior, thoughts and actions to provide some insight into the chances of having actual, honest to god, real rehabilitation if they serve their time in the nicer, more educated facility. That would be a super interesting experiment and provide a lot of very important answers for sure!!

as an South African I promise you they were not joking and thought he was joking about the situation. Also people like them are heavily uneducated and don't know a thing about rehabilitation, prisons in Africa are made to keep these guys out of the public and they won't be able to change their "behaviour" as you hope. I promise you that you can take him to Norway or Switzerland or wherever and as soon as he sets foot back in Lesotho or South African he will commit a crime within hours. The only thing that used to stop these guys from rape or murder was the death penalty, after it got abolished the rape figures in both our countries skyrocketed

That's all true thats what's its like inside prison the number 28 is known 😢 for raping other inmates and the prison guards and head are fully aware of whats going on but they turn a blind eye and refuse to listen or take action. So sad to be a victim of such acts this must stop
