    Noticed the abundance of cottages and "luxury homes" up in French River Provincial Park. I just spent one week up there and some amazing sites.. and sights! Great videos btw.

    Cool trip. But seriously.... You pulled staple out while in the bush???? Lol, think I would have waited one more day...

    Another fine trip. Really enjoyed the lining sequence with Amy filming and giggling while the work was being done. the staple pulling... not so enjoyable. Keep on paddling!

    Looks like a fantastic place. How strenuous are the portages? I have an aluminium Grumman and a portage cart. Doable?

      Most portages in the Park are pretty easy, there is a lot of elevation change on some of them, but none are super bad and none are super long. Not sure about cart paths.

    where is the best calm secluded lake/river area in ontario in which to canoe and camp

      tsocanuck the gem of the Ontario Canoeing area would be Algonquin Provincial Park. There are some many rivers and lakes that you could find a good area to Canoe and camp all over the province.
