Nice changes. Still not coming back without new fun repeatable PvP content. OPRs just feel like playing CounterStrike 1.6 de_dust map for years. Nothing new, same old map, not fun anymore.
They can not just simply inverse the situation of heavy and light armor directly, because the dodge roll trade off is very significant! In my opinion, they should give light armor +10% more damage and +20% more healing. Again, the dodge roll of light armor is very, very powerful. Well played, they practically don't need armor or block and it cost the same as dodge rolling with medium.
As a PVE player who likes high risk high reward, the new venom spear artifact looks very exciting. I like soloing elite zones with 0 Con. That spear will pair very well with my bow. The food changes to Dex are also exciting because if the value for bananas drop it makes it an excellent low cost way to get “good enough” food for just running around the world solo
They should open 2 fresh start full PVP and partial or full loot. High level abuse can be easily fixed with level brackets. Considering you level linearly in zones brackets would work, for example level 0-10 and 10-20, it would make your experience challenging constantly fighting other players while questing. I know many friends who would come back if this were implemented.
My biggest issues with throwing hatchet viability are the vertical dropoff being too drastic and the projectile being too small. If the goal is to make it a viable ranged option, it should be a bit more similar to arrows or magic. The only viable place currently imo is in PVE boss fights where you're basically just aiming for the broad side of a barn.
I want glyphs on the pvp track, night glyphs are a massive pain in the ass to get. 1 boss you can kill every 90 minutes and 1 elite chest are all that drop it
I just want 3 seals a day, 3 days to roll 1 piece, not that everyone has the coin but if you want to upgrade something in the same day you should be able to grind gold and do so, and not be time gated
@@Taylormane yeah I understand that, but in my opinion end game for NW is pvp, who cares if people are bis…its not a good fight when your time gated but a war co just 3 shots you because they have millions and azoth gear all day.
So - you want to make it easier for the war companies to gear faster? Your comments no offense make no sense. You can also just buy the crafts if you have the gold - so as you said if you have the gold you can just buy it. In any case - it takes like 2 weeks to get a BIS set if you play a lot and is honestly too easy to do so
@@christopherhynes5350 I think what he means is either way the big company’s will be better prepared faster than the casual players who wanna pvp they don’t rely on waiting 3 days for the chromatic seals they have the gold to craft over n over for their players but that’s just how it be
In regards to the changes with the Heavies it sounds like they are essentially going to make tanks worthless as it is right now tanks have a hard time actually tanking anything due to the fact that healers and DPSers deal such a high amount of damage that most tanks have a hard time holding aggro so not only have they decreased the amount of damage that helps a tank hold Agro but they haven't increased the amount of aggro a tank can hold for the amount of time that a tank can hold aggro essentially rendering it worthless to be a tank
I have ptsd of voidblade users running at light speed before they fixed that bug and having path of destiny becoming a threat again will be interesting to see how it plays out
huge video, might be too little too late for many though. No mention of fixing that annoying every title earned scrolling up when loading in and out of OPR ? As for Artifact's finally got the Abyss after an estimated 530 Portals. Got the achievement to constantly remind me of the pain when loading in opr :)
Currently medium +10% damage and +10 freedom, heavy 0% damage, 20% freedom. Next patch medium loses medium lose the +10% damage and +10% freedom bonuses and heavy gets -15% damage and keeps the 20% freedom. Something seems wrong about the math behind this, currently why play medium when you only lose a little damage and become way more tanky and they fixed that by what making the % difference 5%?
The fact that throwing hatchet disables block why does one have to aim a hatchet to throw said hatchet just make it right click throws hatchet so many times u'll be holding right click and left clicking and then u light attack as well similar to the rending throw bug its just a redundant action that shouldnt be there and 1 of the main reasons why throwing is never been viable and the thing people often overlook not to mention the abilities having limited ranged compared to infected throw and basic throws. Damage buffs are not the answer for this skill trees side is functionality thats its issue u cant reliably keep dmg buffs and hits consistently due to clunky actions for something that is clearly supposed to be a fast action ranged weapon with melee to trade at close as stated above.
Excuse me but WHAT THE FUCK Amazon !? I'm a pure PVE player coming back to the game and discover I'll get a 15 % damage nerf to all my heavy build ? Like, seriously ? FFS what have the PVP players done again ?
I completely disagree, maybe 2 years ago this was true but ice spike now is so weak that there is no real reason to run it. Id make an argument saying wind chill is a better skill now
So in S5 light armor will not do anymore 10% more damage than medium, it will do 15% MORE! And in compare to heavy it will do 35% more!! Also it will heal for 30% more than using medium armor, when before was only 20% more. Yes, now crowd control is increased by 10%. That means, that a stun for 3 seconds, will stun effectively for 3,3 sec. But come on... that's a big joke. They are making light armor a lot more strong than the other 2 options, because that 10% incoming CC durations is a JOKE. The block stability is also a joke because no one blocks using light armor and even medium armor players don't block. From the other side heavy losses the following: crowd control debuffs you apply last 20% longer. They will nerf heavy armor to the ground now. It will only be useful for tanking like a brainless gorila and that's it. In my opinion these changes are making light armor better than it currently is. It will do a lot more damage and healing than the other options and the stun punishment is ridiculous because anyone that plays light knows: you never let anyone hit you. That means light armor players don't mitigate damage or break out of stuns, no, they AVOID IT COMPLETE! I'm disappointed.
Question. My artifacts already subtract my damage in pve... why 15% less. Like that's 25% less damage if I'm wearing the taunt necklace. O.o you realize us tanks have to solo the last boss of most of these dungeons ...why make the dps wait outside the gate 25% longer?
recently, ive just been doing PvE in OPR. I run around, collect as many resources as possible, obtain 2 brutes and build up mid. It's almost impossible for the enemy team to get it back
No new map? How hard is it to skin the same system onto some new textures, or are they impacted by the recent wave of layoffs. Feels like they're just trying to buy time tweaking already build systems and not adding anything new. The game already released lacking some basic mmo features and after 2+ years the only thing new was the horse and some quality of life changes. Do these devs not see what ppl want? look at Enshrowded / dark and darker. are you sure? phoenix seems like it is FOR assassin builds and i think there will just be more of them lol. getting the 1 or 2 extra hits from the proc being the difference between winning a trade and not. medium/heavy builds and healers would never give up Ankh or a stam/prot/health amulet for an amulet with a cheat death but otherwise terrible perks for their build.
@pr0genitus I run hatchet, defy death which is a 1 time proc with 0.5s immunity allows me to win almost every trade. I will never kill a healer with this, or dex or int player unless they are terrible
They should decide do they want to have bases in OPR or not. If the doors are easy to break then there is no real point in having forts at all. Just have a flag point or something. Many people don't seem to understand that OPR is both PVE & PVP content while Arenas are the pure PVP content.
I would like to see heavy reverted to 50 and adjusted for balance in other ways, I think evasion tanks should have a place in PVE and can lead to really fun playstyles other than “me tank me hold shield”
