  • It’s tough for one to do a lot of things great at one time, but one can do a lot of great things over a career or lifetime. Camille Barbone is a true polymath of the music business. She got her start working at Columbia Records as the Manager of New Release Coordination, which gave her the opportunity to work with all 28 different departments of a major label. This lead her to open her own recording studio in New York City, where she discovered, developed, and managed superstar artist Madonna.
In this conversation, we talk about Camille’s journey of the music business, labels, artist management, what makes a good manager, and much more.

She managed madonna, ok i agree. But she didn't manage a superstar, madonna wasn't a superstar yet and it's not because of her that she became a superstar.all she did is talking on the tv show :Madonna exposed. So thank you, next !
