If you guys didn’t notice the person that technically started the Hero’s Association was Saitama, the owner grandson that he saved 3 years ago was that buttchinned kid”
woooow i did not know that
I discovered this fact for the first time while reading the manga. I thought it was just me .d
Do not spoil plz
@@Nic09766
No spoilers. That will never be mentioned ever again in the entire series.
@@ODDnanref 😂👌
If you guys haven’t noticed yet, but since Saitama lives in the outskirts of city Z and most if not all of the monsters are pretty much dead, he’s the reason why they consider the outer area of city Z a ghost town. Lmao
Yeah Saitama and Genos live in the abandoned area of the city named the ghost town cause as the name say it's a uninhabited zone. And as you say this area was habited before but a lot of monsters was here. That's why people decided to leave this area. But Saitama almost kill all of them and still live here cause he's strong.
@@xenes3170 and because rent is (probably) very cheap, remember Saitama is almost broke
@@armoredsquirrel946 no, he just squats in an apartment that still has utilities.
@@armoredsquirrel946
The author of the manga reportedly stated that Saitama lives there for free. Makes sense since it's a ghost town. There's nobody to collect the rent.
The powerful monster they keep referring to is actually Saitama. They was look at the devastation he created after beating the seaweed monster and all the damage he does when he takes down monsters with his one punch.
Or the rumors exist because Hero's (like the two in this episode) get beating up by a strong monster and the monster never (officially) disappears because Saitama kills them without no one knowing it. That's why they think the town is "full of monsters". They never died on paper.
(maybe both)
That's at least what the story wants you to believe at this point (they both didn't seem to get it though). So you're technically right, but it's later revealed the monster association has its HQ there as well.
@@xMondhirsch No, remember that King always get the credit for the monsters that Saitama killed before Saitama know the Hero Association. (Is my grammar right? I feel like it's very wrong lmao)
@@Sooooyaaaaaaaaa But King only got credit for Kills that are documented. Some monsters like the one in this episode may still walk around in the city (the Hero Association doesn't know that it is already dead).
@@xMondhirsch Nah Dude...if this monster goes out it will eventually find Saitama (there is not much around to take your attention away)...and then RIP. Saitama is the reason even monsters are afraid of going there (and the association was accepting everybody, so the association itself was no threat to the monsters, just Saitama).
24:53 Fun fact, that street corner is based on a real street corner in Japan. Japan also has a prefecture call Saitama, and it's shaped just like the supercontinent that makes up the One Punch Man version of Earth.
cool
Yeah and Saitama is the name of the prefecture ONE (the og author of opm) lived in
25:25 Apparently the author said that Saitama actually lives there for free. So the fact that genos gave him "rent" money and Saitama took it means he scammed him lol
It can be considered as a mentor fee then lol...
but of course, lol
Eh, we can call it living expenses. They gotta pay for groceries somehow, even with those big bargain sales.
Yeah, he lives there for free because he lives in an abandoned area. There's nobody to collect the rent. Everybody evacuated long time ago. Only Saitama lives there. It was stated in the manga.
I've watch OPM many times and only found that out because of this comment lol
Never change guys, yall aren't cringe! Keep up the good work and congrats on 100k!
They're indeed not cringe, it's just the lack of reaction, idk how they gonna react on the next episode, if that doesn't affect their feelings idk man
Who said they were cringe!? Dont tell me you made that up just now
@@unfriendme8236 did u watch the video?
@@syafiqazizi6746Wdym they have good reactions it doesn’t sound too exaggerated like most youtubers who reacts these days.
OPM is one of those anime that you really can't look at on a superficial level or else you won't get the show
Many metaphors are hidden, so it is necessary to think about the true meaning of the expression.
Unpopular opinion, I like season 2 more than season 1. 3 reasons.
1. Season 2 has a lot more rewatch value.
2. I don't have an eye for animation in the first place, you can tell me berserk anime had bad CGI and I would be absolutely fine with it as long as there's a story (which it doesn't from what I heard)
3. Season 2 didn't have to put saitama as the main focus anymore since intros done. Story got a lot better
Yeah idk man. The whole first season already drilled into the audience that none of the enemies matter when it comes to fighting Saitama. When they were trying to hype enemies up like Garou or the monster association over a whole season rather than usually for like 5-10 minutes each in the first season, it gets so boring. There’s no suspense at all about what’s going to happen. And even though the “second main character” Genos gets fucked up all the time he’s always completely rebuilt and better than ever in the next episode. One punch man trying to be a normal action hype anime instead of the satire/comedy with amazing visuals in the first season was such a disappointment.
The sheer amount of skill and reflexes it took for her to win that HIGH STAKES rock paper scissors battle 🤯🤯🤯🤯
by the way, dont know if someone told you but in episode 5, when they are leaving the hero stadium and reading how it's started. It's writing that someone saved the superrich guy's grand-kid. Look at the grand father's face and you will understand how the boy is!
Speed of sonic isn't technically a bad guy. He's just a Ninja usually assigned for missions. (Not a hero) Saitama just happened to cross his path and surpass Sonic and Sonic didn't like that, so Sonic's devoted mission to himself is to defeat Saitama for the heck of it, even if it means he has to hurt citizens.
Congratz on 100k! You guys are one of my favorite reaction channels currently, you totally deserve it! 🥰
4:52 Bro really said “Trust, I know wtf I’m talking about man”
A simple change to Saitamas facial features can either make him look really badass or very dopey.😂😂
8:51 my heart stoped for a second.
broooooooooooo!!!!!
Why? I didn't see anything of note at 8:51
He thought the girl said the n word?

Your guys' relationship is quite cute and silly. I especially find the fact Michelle wasted two free wins hilarious, because Ron literally said exactly what he was gonna do LOL
Yoooooo! Congrats on 100k subs!!!!
25:20 In case u guys might didn't pay attention to the details.so let's me explain it :
1. Saitama lives on city z and only he lives there until Genos decide to lives there too.
2. As the Golden Ball 😏, and Spring Mustachio's explained that this place (where's Saitama lives) is the outskird of the city z that every single person already leave the house abandoned only electricity and water are still intact, and that's why Saitama doesn't have to pay to anyone and so when Genos give him the rent money that means Saitama actually scammed him😂.
I hope my explanation helps u guys😊
22:25 that building was destroyed when the tentacle monster thrown away from Saitama's punch.
One more episode after this till the Deep Sea King leggo 😩
Not yet. The meteorite episode
@@sneakpeek3645 Oh yea, Episode 8.
21:26 That’s the running joke of this whole series.
“I’ll leave tomorrow’s problem’s to tomorrow’s me”. I say that at work at the end of everyday.😂
i love how the news report at the end and the 4 heros were reporting and gawking at the damage that saitama did, not even a monster
That is what all OPM fans are hungry for! Saitama getting even a slight amount of recognition!
that's always been one of my quotes when I overspend, drink too much or do something dumb. "That's future Joe's problem, he can handle it tomorrow"
I have a theory ast to why saitama is so strong. Because he eat monsters he kills sometimes and most of the time they are tiger level.(just a theory)
they are technically living for free in an abandoned zone. ppl think its a monster area because of all the destruction, but its actually all the damage saitama did killing monsters.
9:38 the music right always give goosebumps 🥶
The One Punch Man today is actually always stronger than the One Punch Man yesterday
Correction: he is stronger then he was Yesterday!
@@ineedpowers5151 Oops I mean yesterday

Congrats on 100K🔥
6:12 me and my Fiancee say that all the time. "thats tomorrow's me problem" lolol
no. there is no competition for saitama. and thats kind of the joke. he is so absurdly powerful that, even in the current manga releases, nothing has come close to giving him a challenge. the closest thing to give him a run for his money he still beat very easily one handed.
but the show really isn't about him overcoming strong enemies. idk if i want to give away the themes of the show, but it uses his stupidly overpowered strength to examine other things about society, how we judge others, etc. by all accounts he is the best hero in the world but nobody knows who he is. he is so good they can't even comprehend it and think he's actually weak and his victories go unnoticed.
the real point of the anime is showing how insanely good Saitama is at being a hero and how little the world, society, and its institutions recognize him.
if you read the manga, Saitama shows that he eat monsters that looked like food, one one chapter we saw him roasting a mushroom monsters
fun fact the rumor about powerfull monster on city Z is Saitama it self lmao...
Congratulations on 100k subscribers
I wanted to post it on my story but exams are going on and I got too lazy I'm sorry 😭
Road to 200k now!!! ❤️
If you follow the Mustachio hero talk with GoldenBall, they mentioned that the abandoned area of city Z, is extremely cheap. Given Saitama's income, that is why he lives there.
And yes. Many of the things shown/heard in this episodes have a lot, lot of FOREBODING of things to come. That area is not only housing Saitama, as the last rumored comments say before the outro...
yooo congrats on 100k 💪🏽
8:52 Well, that almost sounded like something else💀🤌
Saitama having no competition is the point. The series is satire, and part of what it satires is how we attribute value to looks, class, or public opinion. As you guys pointed out, Genos is much weaker than Saitama, yet he's the more popular of the two in its world. We now kinda root for Saitama to finally find a challenge throughout the series, but you can also bet that if he were to finally have one, the series would definitely be over. :p
With that said, you're right that Saitama just one punching everything, no matter how good a character he is, would get dull fast. That's why the series also relies alot on its side characters, as that is where the tension lies. Without them, we wouldn't last for 180 plus chapters (and counting) in the manga.
City Z is actually where Saitama lives. The monsters are attracted to Saitama, which is why there are many sightings of monsters there. That's why nobody lives there other than Saitama. The world is mistaking Saitama as some sort of powerful monster since he is the only one living in the Ghost Town, and actually destroying all the monsters.
No, they are not attracted to Saitama.
Saitama moved there because it was free rent. He is essentially squatting. That means the area was already abandoned due to the monsters.
The reason for the monsters there is revealed in the manga that has only been hinted at in the season 2 anime.
The comment above me is right. They are not attracted to Saitama. Saitama just want to live rent free. He is the guy that wants to get things at affordable price or free if possible.
@@misteryio3990 interesting, I haven't read the manga so I guess my theory is wrong
Its a bit of a spoiler, but plot point from season 2 is that there IS a colony of monsters living near City Z not too far from where Saitama lives.
Saitama lives in that abandoned area of City Z cuz yk it's cheap 😂
He don't care about monsters popping up
Saitama canonically doesn’t pay rent since he (and now Genos) are the only humans living in the abandoned area lol. IIRC, he might pay for utilities though, like water and heating, since those haven’t been shut off in the abandoned area.
So wholesome videos you guys are making
Guys, the district where Saitama apartment is, has no Monsters AND people because saitama kills all the monsters, so the monsters dont live there and the persons are afraid, because saitama punches something and the shockwave destroys 2 or 3 buildings or cracks the road in 2, so people think there is a special OP monster there, but its actually saitama xD
Not once have I considered that the seaweed monster looked like a pokemon and now I can't unsee it.
I watched a video essay on the show somewhere and it talked about how the web comic is the creators homage to manga as a whole so a lot of his character designs are based on other manga. Like Vaccine Man looking like piccalo and stuff. The seaweed monster is most likely paying homage to pokemon.
I don't know if you guys noticed but it doesn't seem like it.
They've been suspecting Saitama's collateral damages as if it was caused by a monster and they are terrified.
Saitama literally doesnt notice the city he lives in has been abandoned
I'm invested in your OPM reaction for the next episodes as it becomes epic. You guys a cute couple and it's fun to revisit my absolute favorite anime/manga with you guys.
You've got my sub. Watch the next episode ☯️
Congrats on the 100k subscribers, guys 🤗
She's like "when he wins in board games he's a snake" sheesh I wonder what it's like to play uno💀😭
“The dominator of the universe” the one and only “GOAT” Lord Boros🗿!! Coming soon, can’t wait.
City Z is where Saitama lives. And funny thing is - this city is mostly empty. There are rumors of a terrible monster living there, slaughtering all weaker monsters that trespass on his territory.
Guess who that monster is most likely?😎
Also author of the manga reportedly stated that Saitama lives in his apartment for free because there's no landlord to pay rent to. That's why he was so happy when Genos gave him rent money. That's basically money for food and living expenses for Saitama, since he pays no rent.
Chad doesn't care eats anything he finds
From this episode, Sonic among the first anti-hero who recognize Saitama as a real 'Hero'...
7:08 Saitama's whole body is Indestructible, from inside to outside.
You missed it, but that's why Saitama can still pay for small things. Thanks to Genos paying "rent". In reality, it's all free.
That's why Saitama feels he is scamming him.
So the secret to getting strong is to eat monsters remains by properly boiling them. Puzzle cracked 😂
he is eating all of those monsters all along, that's the true source of saitama's power.
press 1 in your keyboard for a genuinely wholesome moment.
You guys I wanna know why does mumen rider gets all the credit like what in the hell did he do something helpful in his life he only goes around in his bicycle
Saitama does not pay rent. One of the reasons why he is living there. Even the strongest hero is so poor he has to cook monsters to have proper food.
17:33 Tangela vs Sirfetch'd 😂
Cant wait till you do mob psycho 100 reactions, in my opinion i enjoyed that way more because of the wacky but heartfelt episodes it has
Can someone please explain why the audio gets cut of??

Love this reaction video. Make more re fun intros like these. Sushi squad out! Untill next episodes
19:12 smooooooooth
Saitama lives in an abandoned area therefore he doesn't have any neighbours and the talk about rent was Genos giving rent to Saitama to live together with him it is Saitana's apartment and what's funny is the people abandoned the area in fear of monsters and monster abandon the area in fear of Saitama so the entire place is vacant monsters do show up time to time but they are either ignorant or think they are strong enough to face anything
Itsso cool seeing you 2. I watched this series with my girlfriend and we couldn't stop laughing
25:22 that's where you don't need to think deep about it, it's just for comedy on how poor he is and even if Genos have the cash they don't botter moving to the big city
Sorry brother you’re gonna be waiting for that competition because us manga readers are still waiting 😂😂
Hi, i am back. Good reaction, ty. Love this show. Waiting for more seasons. So glad u got into it too. It's very unique concept but now there are more shows like this. But this one has a good story. Like it's written really well compared to the others. Ok, so this is a parody anime. The writers throw in so many anime into this it's kinda fun to see what u can spot. I believe that was totally a Pokemon reference. Snorts. Sweet, that here we get to meet more heroes. The seaweed monster i think got away. 0.o Did u spot that? Hugs. -NY USA 2019 Army💟
I recommend "Parasite the Maxim" after you're done with "One Punch Man"😁.
every time i see this episode when the seaweed monster gets beaten and cooked by Saitama, i always crack up laughing.
Proud of you dude
You know your Pokemon
Saitama is living for free in city z bcecause of all the monster attacks there and also he's ripping off genos in the name of rent LoL🤣🤣🤣
saitama doesn’t have the budget to live on other city that’s why he’s living in city z ( ghost town)
Even though theres seemingly no one to challenge Saitama they do a great job at making it appear to be a challenge and giving impressive opponents for Saitama to face, But a Challenge for Saitama isnt someone that can beat him, Hes by this point clearly just invincible, Its more so who can survive him the best and or longest...
Then yeah as show goes on you start wishing for him to “beat strong monsters” less and more just start wanting him to be recognized and getting credit for his work when defeating said monsters, He slowly gets recognized though, Frustrating how rare and slow it is though 😂
Thats why in season 2 they focus on other s class heroes story so people dont get bored cause in this anime saitama is the strongest and nothing can hurt him or beat him. In this season they focus on his life and developement, thats why is a little bored
Guys u will meet a lot more wacky but yet in depth characters as u watch along
I’m impressed by your Pokémon knowledge lol
Saitama and Genos live in the abandoned area of city Z so I guess they don't have to pay rent because everything is deserted anyway. The city officials probably don't keep track of the water or electricity being used in that area because they think no one lives there. But we do see Saitama being a good citizen and paying for his groceries instead of just taking them sooo idk where that money comes from.
Where do the groceries come from if there’s no employees?
@@TP-pq9xx who knows....
Saitama doesn't see humans as bad guys, since poor choices doesn't = monsters.. hence his dumb handling and reaction to Sonics attack.
You guys are so fun to watch, wish my gf liked anime too lol
yeah it the predator effect Saitama is so powerful ppls natural instinct causes them to move away from him which allows weaker monsters who can sense Saitama to move in which causes more ppl to move which lets stronger monsters move in a vicious cycle Saitama kills any monster that cross his path but those that dont survive and get stronger
so if someone trys killing you while youre just walking , you wouldnt think hes a bad guy?! until someone tills you he is LOL . i\ love your reactions i be dyingloolllll
next is sea king. not a spoiler just saying it will be intresting
I think Saitama is actually living for free, and irresponsibly spent the money on a good toilet.
