Why this is NOW the Best Medicine Perk in Bannerlord

- Bannerlord patch 1.8. hotfix came in thick but slow and the Medicine Perk Doctor oath was one of the changes that came with it. What makes this perk the best medicine perk in Mount & Blade II: Bannerlrod ?

Big Bonus for medicine. Now we can get that final perk before we are in our 60s
After having to fight sieges with this perk + high medicine skill. I'd call it the worst perk. I think it's great for making money off prisoners early game though. But late game it makes defending sieged castles considerably harder, most enemies survive and heal up for the next wave...
Wait, so, killing and injuring enemies GIVES medicine XP?
when this video was made it did. can't confirm if that is still a thing. But if i have to bet on it it probably still is.
