- The MK Party has once again reiterated its call for a revote, stating that it will not accept the outcome and results of the 2024 General Elections. This past weekend, former president Jacob Zuma threatened to take legal action over allegations of election irregularities. Zuma spoke after his party announced that it had submitted evidence to the independent electoral commission proving its allegations of widespread irregularities and alleged election rigging. Yesterday, key members of the MK Party boycotted an official address by the IEC.

The IEC is in bed with the ANC. Corruption with the voting process wasn't reported, suggesting the media was in bed with the ANC suppressing the actual votes.
The MK Party, in conjunction with other smaller parties tried desperately over the weekend to stop the final announcement of the results, however, those people, groups and media outlets wouldn't report it, including The South African.
A narrative created by media outlets made former President Zuma out to be a criminal/crazy person. The reality is Zuma is the most credible political leader in South Africa, if not the whole African continent.
Ramaphosa did everything to stay in power, when the truth of the matter is he corroborated with the media and IEC, which he pays, to mysteriously make hundreds of thousands - if not millions- of legitimate cast ballots disappear to remain in power.
The truth will prevail, praise God!

Revote means the treasury must reallocate R2 BILLION budget again. This is just mindboggling that such a call is made by mk , that budget now must be used to improve lives of your constituency, your people you supposed to serve, your demand for 2/3 majority is not going to happen😱

What is disappointing is what MK is brewing in the country. A revote would be a monumental and costly effort, not to mention how people can now change their votes based on the results they have now seen collectively, completely skewing the results of a revote. I agree however that whatever tampering has been done needs to be exposed and individuals responsible be held to the highest possible account.

One thing that baffles me to date is the issue of systems downtime - whoever setup the systems there should have probably had a *disaster recovery* and/or *fault tolerance* put in place to guard against whatever technical glitches that are said to have been experienced (although I personally doubt there was any) so that we as the general public do not feel that? Such kind of incidents in events like elections of such magnitude often have a great likelihood to make people doubt the outcome of the elections which then brings about a question of whether or NOT they were [indeed] FREE & FAIR!
