I sacrificed my personal time to go to university at night after work. My co-workers were able to work overtime & bragged of the extra $1000 a week they earned nett. A few years later I graduated & doubled my salary. I watched as these same people no longer had the overtime like they used to earn & were cut down to size. I could now leave at 5pm to enjoy my nights as they scrambled to get any overtime. I recalled the nasty comments said to me but I knew my priorities were correct at the time for me.

I've heard the same dogmatic descriptions of sigma.... and a few different and errant alliterations of what a sigma will allow. For the spiritual minded sigma there are deeply held convictions they will adhere to in the face of social change that don't equate to the advantage of the whole. Knowing right from wrong is a powerful sword the sigma wields and he will never cross that line..... if he is indeed genuine. Combined with the INFJ-A subtype, the Sigma is immovable from what has guided his life. His focus will always be on the next step up in life.

I didn't know sigma from what ever untill much later in life. I just did what i did and liked who i liked. One foot in front of the other do what feels right.
It is nice to be able to work alone! Make the final major decisions to keep everything running smoothly. Money: you learn how to make it and invest it. You stay away from mindless unprofitable things. You know how much extra you make every month. By using a financial game plan you know where you are financially all the time. You don't waste your time while everybody is caught up in things like most mindless sports. You spend more time on the rate of return on equity! You can always invest it and spend it later! The big question Sigmas ask themselves: are you well prepared for the future? The rest of society basically is not. Good hunting!
