This disables the "Prefetch Folder" from functioning. In the Prefetch folder, many of your apps startup function is stored their, so by disabling it many of ypur apps will begin to open lately as if you just started them up for the first time. Just keep it as it is, it doesn't even take as much of a space to begin with so no need to stop it from doing its job.
Please pin this, not for me but for the people that do these optimizations. Just before you do anything to your system read about what you are about to do, don't just do whatever someone tells you to do.

Im surprised the younger generation in the comment section doesnt even know cheat engine anymore,i grew up with that tools back then,such nostalgia changing the value of anything in offline games back then
computers were different back then, less distractions online, windows software was easier to use, world was different. now theres only 3-4 sites ( google,youtube,twitter, ig )

I'm 18 and I use cheat engine plus I have over 20 medical problems and I'm in the undiagnosed disease program so I don't have anything else to do besides experimenting with cheat engine plus if I'm ever gonna get a job the only job that might hire me is a company that does stuff with computers I'm good with computers most of what i know about computers i taught myself from experimenting with different things on the computer I'd much rather work as a train driver but i got a feeling as soon as csx sees how i walk and see how slow I talk they wont hire me to drive a train so computers are the next best thing for me as a job

LADS IT WORKS!! here are fixes for any errors: if it shows an error after you try modify it from 2 to 0, run the app in administrator. then it works! if that doesn’t help, make sure your on the administrator account (so make sure your account is set as administrator). this works on a game like roblox. (just make sure your graphics are low 😅😅)

Pc and laptops are different since pc are I think cheaper since they are good for gaming but laptops are bad since the 300$ ones have like 16gb storage left or like 2gb with just installing 1 game pc are better since you can buy like 4 hard drives with 1tb and do some settings to get like max fps on games and laptops are like 30fps max on games (gaming laptops are different)
All this means you cant make a laptop that isn't made for gaming better without wasting money (sometimes) but still best way to play games is get a 80$ screen and like 400$ pc and add some space and you will need like 600$ and you will play so good you cant say no (just like roblox other games need like 1.5k pc)
sadly I don't think that tip worked. I tried it long time and my laptop is basically slower than usual. I guess I just need a new laptop then.

@@someoneanimatesyt HDD still need Prefetch. This won't work if you don't have enough RAM and use HDD.
