That first guy must have taken over an hour to set all that up and not even a partial...
The set up is part of his workout lol
@Scott Adam he has a wife?😂
I can’t believe none of the welds or bolts snapped on that rack. Must be high quality.
@@matthewgunther782 It's pure insanity man. I can't believe some of these people. Crazy
That's the secret the set up is the workout!
One person benching, 2 people squatting. That’s what I call efficiency.
thats what I call "idiots" lol
😂
Pure idiotic lol
@@bobrecken3145 Get a life, and respect other people's stuff and privacy, you aren't cool and people don't think you are cool because of doing that it isn't something to brag about It just shows how childish you are. She's better off without a person like you tbh, you don't deserve to have a gf if that's the way you get on. Immaturity is a terrible thing.
Yes.
The dude benching with 2 fingers was actually pretty impressive lol
Very dangerous
Yeah he has strength the rest are all twats.
The clapping was impressive too 😂😂😂
Looked like concrete weights. 20lb cheap bar at best. Not light but not 4.5 wheels on either side either.
I didn't think that the bar was thick enough and I understand that some countries are poor and they do what ever to get by besides he's the only one in the whole video doing the bench press right lol
If you get rid of Smith machines, those kind of people will have 2 choices: die from using free weights or to stop lifting stupid. Either way I think it's a win
Going a bit far there lad don’t you think
@@krisskora7164 😂😂😂 natural selection.
I approve of your message
%100 agree with you lol
@@krisskora7164 Well some people will do anything to win a Darwin Award.
People like these should be banned from all gyms, they are the ones who damages and hoards all the machines and weights with 0 workout done and 100% damage of equipments.
just walk up and take the weight off and see what he says. Then when he comes up to you tell him he isn’t doing nothing to benefit himself
These are the kind of idiots that need to get kicked out of Planet Fitness, not someone who happens to grunt or make a noise.
@@JayNohh let's keep them at planet fitness. The only "gym" that encourage idiotic dipshits and beta's to be what they are.
Sounds like a American thing
No doubt bro
The second dude wasn’t even an ego lifter he was just trying to PR
Exactly, that was a totally legit lift dumbass
@@jasonbernstein2 Not sure how he couldn't get a second rep. Anytime I go full out for a press like that, the hardest part is lifting the dumbbells from a dead stop at the bottom. Once you get one rep, there should be enough elastic energy for you to atleast get two or more reps.
I guess. Nothing wrong with PRs. Its more real
@@jasonbernstein2 *something can still be based on ego and still be legit you moron eg a person can be correct form and still insist on lifting weights he cant handle yet*
@Chief Keef *or drop the weights and do it with good form instead*
1:10 I mean he isn’t really stupid. No harm in challenging yourself when you are clearly jacked, at least he didn’t act like he could do it. When he realized it was too much he just dropped it.
Those are fake weight sir
Godly Ways I mean if that big dude can’t get a rep up I’m betting they are real. Why would you go through the trouble of getting fake dumbbells made for a single failed rep?
@@Fettman07 sorry 2:30 are the fake weights
You don’t have to be jacked to challenge yourself though.
I agree with your comment
0:26
"Hey man, do you know where all the plates are at?
"Harold is at it again..."
"Fucking Harold, man!"
underrated
😮😂😂😂😂😂
I worked out in a gym when I was younger and the owner was an old time powerlifter. He was always in the gym and if he saw you lifting more than you could handle, he would tell you reduce the weight, it's too heavy. I saw a really big guy, about 260 pounds tell the owner to go fuck off. Big mistake. The owner slapped that big guy silly and threw him out on the street, never to return. We need more gym owners like him.
Yes sir. I agree.
I'll take "Things that never happened for $500 Alex."
And then Obama shook his hand?
@@beaverbuttcrack7912 that doesn't seem unbelievable to me
And the gym owners name? Albert Einstein
The human body is an amazing thing. It can withstand such a high degree of stupidity and still function afterward.
Automatic function 😀.
It just take time for injuries to set in sometimes, give it time.
If stupidity would hurt, a lot of people would be rolling in pain
If you can't unrack the weight... Stop it, get some help ! 😂
These guys are trying so hard to get attention but it's not working
He got himself help, can't you see? :D :D
@@juggalogamer8541 no it is working. They're getting lots of attention
help as in a spotter, or help like from a doctor? :P
@@juggalogamer8541 Well I mean you just watched it- damn near a million people (so far) have seen it. I think it's working lol
PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: Please stop the abuse of smith machines all over the world.
Thank You.
😷👍
Stop using smith machines period
PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: Please stop the use of smith machines all over the world.
Thank you.
Going to break the safety on them 😯
no please abuse them they deserve it
"I broke my back. My back is broken...spinal." 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Sthpinal
That shit had me dying, I haven’t laughed so hard in a while. Thank you ego lifters we love you
You guys think the first dude failed... his workout was not to squat that bar, his workout was actually putting all them plates on the bar itself.
By the time he puts them back on the racks, prob be 50 reps with them 45s lol
Probably leaves them on haha
That first dude I’m just impressed on how he stacked all that weight. He gets an A for effort
I dont know if he believed he could lift it but its still cool that he stacked all the weight he could
Coach: "You should train with 70%-90% of the maximum weight you can lift, for optimal training efficiency."
These guys: "But what if I train with 200%! That way I will double the effect of my training!"
Modern day problems require modern day solution
At least they get to have "some" training while they load and unload the weights from the bar...
1:00 I mean he is just trying a 1 rep max and the form was fine
btw hes about to sing the Psychosocial of Slipknot lol
He said it isn't stupid, but you can see the ego in his eyes
Benny Who said it was for one rep? Dude probably tried for a few
@Benny why?
The two support boys burned more calories than the benching one...😭😭😭😭
Because of this guys the devices getting destroyed.
all smith machines were harmed in the making of this video
@@ForTehNguyen yes absolutly
the guy at 1:00 looks like he did a legit rep with 200 pound plus dumbbells! very impressive!! this does not belong in this video! he could probably do five reps or so with 150's
Agreed I wouldn’t have posted that as a fail he actually did the 1 rep max dumbell press starts at the bottom and ends at the top
it's useless in terms of building muscles and actually cause issues to you instead
Either lift like a man with the Correct range of motion or reduce the weight.
correct range of motion when you are working out it has nothing to do with being man, it's just what must be do in any workout.
Thank you...Someone had to say it
they lift for people to see how super impressive they are because they been 4th place all their lives
@@CanalSDR it's a figure of speech
Only acceptable reason for not going full RoM is injury. But then Again then you dont use EGO weights xD
People are so rude and narcissistic. They don’t don’t care that there are other people in the gym too who want to workout in peace without them screaming or having to wait on the 45 lb plates. I know it’s not the library but respect the others around you.
If you’re screaming, obnoxiously, fair enough, but if you’re just yelling, because you’re at the top end of your rep. And you don’t do it every single rep, you’ve already stated the library. But you should know by now that it has nothing to do with respect. Everybody expresses themselves differently.
Why does society feel like they have to record themselves doing everything?
If you were an enormous douchebag youd understand and probably do it too. The worst part is these idiots think moving a weight 1 inch is amazing. Society is circling the drain
You mean doing nothing, right?
@wangpie92 You have a legitimate reason, bravo. It's like the difference between lifting in the mirror to make sure your form is following through VS doing it cuz you have a huge crush on yourself.
@@maggs131 They're usually the same type of person who will scoff at someone squatting 225lb ATG for a few reps because it's only two plates
I mean that's how you get gems like this
I miss the gym
How did he hang all of those plates?!
Oh look it's Dr. Swole here to boost his Jewtube rank again.
Spotter maybe
5:35 his hand was still cramping from all that Dota.
3:55 - 4:12 yep hes a freakin beast!! Rarely am I intimidated but that bloke is legit strong I can tell, thats impressive
First dude better be thanking glob he didn’t accidentally unrack 💀
3:25 That’s how I walk to the bathroom after eating at Taco Bell
2:40 its that golem from the movie "300"
Ego lifters are pathetic, they don't even have the shape to lift 2 plates but here they put like 9 plates each sides...
It's a surefire way to get injured complete madness.
So you allow the name OE decided to call this video Ego lifters, when you have no clue about those who were illegally recorded. The judging of others I see out here disgusts me.
Personal Trainer here. If you just lift a reasonable amount of weight, with a full range of motion, you can actually build some muscle.
I can pull 500 deadlift, (cat back) or squat 500 (quarter rom) but that isn't building any muscle.
1:59 i mean Look at His legs
He looks around 170 lbs . How on earth this dude thinks he can actually lift that kind of weight is beyond me....
The guy in the beginning.. that’s where you walk up and just start taking plates off. If he’s got a problem, just tell him to show you 1 good rep with 3 plates.
Where are these guys coming from? I'm used to seeing cheat reps when guys squat, but who told these people that a one-inch bar path is doing anything for them?
He just wanted to test his 1RPM. Strong men usually look like that and that is the usual strong man physique, so I think he is just powerlifting it.
@@JoeyCentral uhh.. no. That’s not even 1 rep. I know what you’re trying to say, but if you can bench 315 for 8 and you want to test your one rep max, you find someone to spot you and you keep adding weight and trying reps (FULL REPS) till failure. Then you’ve found your 1 rep max. If you want to get used to holding the weight, you have spotter help you up, pause, then carefully set it down. You don’t bash out crap for the ego. Oh and i could probably do what he was doing. Not worth anythinggggg you’re not strong, you’re just damaging equipment.
But he will do one rep (wrong of course) and tell you how YOU know nothing, but he is an expert.
@@David-lx4yb hahah true, unfortunately 😮💨😂👍🏼
I think it’s counter productive when you try to break your spine trying to lift all the weights at once 😂
The editing with the Korean ego lifter and Ronnie Coleman screaming in the background is hilarious 😂😂
I once put extra padding on the bar to do squats and a big juiced up lump laughed and told me to grow some traps... He was right
*3:55** he's a pakistani patan , patan are usually considered as one of the strongest race in whole pakistan ...... they don't have huge bodies but they have a lot of strength and stamina*
1:54 if he unclips the bar he will break like a stick.
The man who lifts the entire weights in the gym 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I am dying 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The guy at 1:32 worked out at the school gym that I went to at BYU-Idaho. Everyone at the gym would stop and listen to the guy destroy that smith machine.
If it weren't a Smith machine, the destruction would be regrettable.
The two guys benching didn't even break a sweat but the face of the spotters when they couldn't squat no more, thst was hilarious lol😅
2:28 that is a true exercise, and well performed by the way.
Ha true he was doing shrugs but it was Brad Castleberry and 40% of those weights were fake
thats what i was about to say
The two fingers was impressive that he did a full reps
If I was the owner most of them would be out of a membership if they did not immediately stop.
And nobody would blame you
The first step would be to throw out the Smith machines.
I never had time to record someone to busy lifting
If you add up everyone’s IQ in the video notice how it’s below 15
6:00 Shit had me Dying Ronnie Coleman’s yeah buddy screaming😂😂
It just doesn't feel like it's really Dingleberry without the fart sound effects.
1:14 no you did not!
5:09 HERE COMES RONNIE! MAN I LAUGHED!
If you can’t lift it off yourself while squatting, don’t even bother trying to rep.
I thought he was going to say "you can never be too soft" when he was talking about the towel for extra safety. omg lol
6:06 ..."Cant say that i didn't lift it"..!
I can lift it
ruclips.net/video/cS8O5uQNZLA/видео.html
Enjoy
The dude that tried to bench 740 for some show but struggled with 405 is forever the biggest ego lift imo
Power lifters train with partial lifts, it's not an ego thing.
Exactly.
The last guy should be congratulated for compressing his spine to become two inches shorter.
I have an explanation for the first one. This lift is a type of exercise involving a none rep oriented action. In these you are not supposed to move the bar, merely try your hardest to. Athlean - X had a video put out about, though it was about the bench press; which can work in these exercises as well.
1:31 he looks like JeffCavalier though.
The first guy couldn’t even do baby reps. He was basically just moving
I feel like Smith Machines are hardly ever used properly and gyms would be better without them; you could another put a squat rack in its place.
its great for beginers but people use it like dumbasses and fuck squats
Are we not gonna talk about how funny and humorous this guy's commentaries are?
Castleberry's face always looks like he just smelled a particularly nasty fart, as is extremely sad about it.
Castleberry? Oh you mean Dingleberry.
The second guy: „got one“ - dude, you didn’t get even half 🤣
I'm a pretty big casual when it comes to the gym, I do what's comfortable to me. These types of videos actually put my anxiety at ease. As I came to like working out more and more I was afraid I was becoming vain. But when I compare how I conduct myself at the gym vs these fools it makes me feel a lot more confident as to where my headspace is. Thanks for sharing these wackos
The last guy more chance of shaking hands with the pope than lifting that😮
It's better to get the proper technique with a lower weight. Ive seen gymbros laugh at me when i put 60kg from floor to overhead, but at least i'm not falling over looking like an idiot, it's semi flawless, im highly confident that i wont hurt myself or others. Be in control of the weight, not other way round
"Give me 2 more"
Spotter: I can't I can only do 1 more squat
I'd love to see those folks getting swole on the smith machines squat to depth and get buried alive.
That man's fingers be stronger than my whole being. 😂
I really hope some of those are staged because I can't imagine knowingly looking like an idiot in front of the world....
I know when I first started I'd load the heck outta the seated calf raise and do lil baby reps while pulling up on it like a mofo. It be upwards of 250lbs... that I was the shizz. Now I just cringe. It helped I think cuz I can move 100lbs with full range, pausing at top and bottom for 2 seconds. But yeah... if ya don't have anyone to tell you what's up you'll be a fool
Most of these are illegally recorded.
Man I was kinda sad from loneliness hitting me today but this video made me laugh big time. Exactly what I needed.
“Another gym another smith machine getting abused “. 😂
Guy that bends the bar is a beast. Last one . . . well clearly trying to make up for a deficiency somewhere else ;)
And then there are the strongmen who are mostly humble cinnamon roles.
And very dehydrated.
@@CassiusGreen nice Eddie the beast reference
I could go for a humble cinnamon role.....mmmmm
Bacause they had the injuries and know not to be stupid with big weights your body isnt ready for.
Actually most of the successful ones have a pretty adversarial attitude once you get past the on-camera affability. It's the consequence of going to war with yourself.
3:45 he is from Pakistan I can tell 😅
The word "stupid" describes this video perfectly.
3:36 dude's laughing in silence.
One thing is seeing it on yt the other thing is seeing it in person...
I dnt think these people are stupid some of them are just trying to push themselves as hard as they possibly can
The problem is that they do not know how to lift properly. Even if they don’t hurt themselves, they are not getting results from their fraction ROM lifts.
The first guy, I gather he wasn't satisfied he'd lifted it until he managed to make one micron of clearance on both sides of the bar? That was impressive. Such determination!
The Dude with two fingers wasn’t as impressive to me as to other people. The bar was bent because he bounced the bar off of himself. Not much of a lift
The Tyson I broke my back clip 🤣😅🤣😅🤣
This video is why i only do quarter squats when i am on my own.
LOL - 2:25, the guy at the water fountain - Hahaha
Actually the guy using the spotting bars in the cage lifting it up partially is using a powerlifting technique called partial movements where you lower the bar every week or two until you can do a full repetition with 20% more than your max.
i wanna film OE fitness while he works out (IF he works out) so i can criticize every little thing then post it for the world to see.
Exactly!!! This is illegal in many gyms to record someone without their consent. I hope some of them get sued.
Those people who insanely overload the machine like the first guy are nuts. Imagine if the bar or machine fails. Youre done for 😂
Makes you wonder, how is dingleberry that big with all the fake weights he lifts? I am guessing he is juiced to the gills?
The Ronnie Coleman track on the last guy was GOLD 😂😂😂
Bruh!!! I cannot tell y'all how hard Im over here laughing!!! The commentator wasnt enough! When Inheard Ronnie Colemans country ass at the end...omg!!!!! TEARS!!!!
first dude wearing a chain as a belt lmao
I was kinda worried he'd manage to unrack it and immediately get crushed
2:43 is he about to cry? Lmao
My brother was testing his limits some years ago...Being a sensible man, he almost always played around what he could do without any kind of spotting. I think he peacked at 155 kg, i was spotting for him that day for safety, never touched the weights i think he did 2 clean reps. No steroids ofcourse.
All kinds of guys were coming to him saying how they did 160, 180, 200kg when they saw him benchpressing his usual 140+ kg full clean solo reps. Yet i had never seen one of them performing close to that and when some of then did it was with spotting similar to these videos..All they wanted to do is brag.
I'm glad that the first guy could NOT unrack that Hercules weight. His knees would've exploded
I'm so surprised that the first guy didn't succeed, he looked like he was in great shape 🙈
If the dude at 2:30 wasn't celebrating it so much, this would have been a good shoulder/back exercise
Finally, someone understood that exercise, thank you! I agree, celebration ruined everything, it's not that exercise that you could flex about it :D You can also change the bar to a heavy dumbbells for more results, with dumbbells there are more space to rotate shoulders and more chances to hit that trapeze muscle deeply.
Hahaha, the dude at 2:50 was showing his biceps! He did not even know which muscles he was training.
1:55 Look at his legs! Wtf was he thinking?!?!
There are 2 types of people. People who want to succeed and people who want to show how heavy they can lift and fail miserably
It's amazing that bar in the beginning didn't snap
Its hilarious to hear ronnie yelling in the background
