Thank you making this, it helped a lot and work very good, like she said, the weaving can be found on the Tube, this I need as it hard to do by hand.
Since the buckles clip in to the jig, they're included in the measurement. So the inside knotted part won't measure 8" but the whole bracelet should.

+Aaron Valerio It's been a awhile since we shot this one so I can't be sure, but I believe this was one of the earliest videos we shot with our Canon VIXIA. The higher end VIXIAs work quite well for this type of table top photography.

Indeed a little clarification. If your wrist is 8 inches and the buckles add about 2 inches, do u set the jig at 8 inches or at 9 inches to accommodate the inch thickness? I set the jig at 8 inches but it seems small in the inside and that only measures 7 inches now. Really need your help. Thank you.
We're the clips supposed to come with it? I just bought mine yesterday and there are no clips so I can't start. 🙁

I bought a jig and have a question I hope you can answer it. If I have a clasp that measures 1 1/2 " and want to make a 7" bracelet, Do I have to position the number of the jig at 5 1/2 and with the 1 1/2 of the clasp it will be 7"? Or I have to make it different? Thank you.
You would set the jig at 7". Clasp included. Just like in the video.
Hey, I have a question say your wrist is 6 inches would u make it 7 inches on the loom for room to work with and so its not tight or keep it at 6???
Cheesey12330 Keep in mind that with paracord you set the length before you work and there is no adjusting it after that. Also, paracord is very thick so when you make 7 inches long it will be closer to 6 inches on your wrist. Also the buckle/closure you are using can have an effect on the size.
Here is general sizing info: For a 7 1/2 wrist, measure out 8 1/2 inches in length (not including the buckle)

I noticed you make your loop under the center strands and some people go on top. Does it change the finished look of the bracelet if you go under or top?
I believe you start a paracord with under, under, over----that's the right side. Then over, over, under for the left side.

what is 15mm & 12mm in INCHES?
wouldn't taking out and re-inserting the screws eventually strip the screw hole?

15mm is about 0.59" and 12mm is about 0.47". For future reference, you can always find the conversion very easily with an internet search. The jig is adjusted by loosening and tightening the bolt and wing nut. I imagine that the metal nut could get stripped after repeated use, but it would probably last for quite a while. If it did eventually strip out, you could always get a new wing nut from the hardware store.
thekalaoakidd Oh, then yes, I could see those getting stripped through repeated use. Those aren't meant to be changed all that often. The two sizes of buckle that come on the jig are two very common sizes, and it would be more for a situation where you always use a different size and you want to change it and leave it.

Nobilis not all bracelets are used for survival. Here in the UK alot of people have them for fashion purposes.

I bought one of these at my local craft/hobby store..was not impressed at all!! first off the buckles it comes with don't hold other buckles tightly so when your trying to tighten your cord they pull apart and secondly the ruler on the side is off by 1/4 of an inch.
I just used a 20" 4x4 hahaha
Whatever works right, we've also done a lot of these by taping one end to a table and holding it taut

No wonder I am not getting my bracelets the right size… My line is not at the six it’s at the 6 1/2 Mark… That doesn’t help us at all.
