Great video as always! Yes, the song is less warm sounding than Mara Effect live, has a more pop-style vibe and a lot more radio-play type of quality, that is less typical for metalcore stuff. Courtney talks about the future of metal, and from the whole diversity of sounds and composition they did across all their songs, this might not be short of amazing. Can't await the album to drop.
Keep up doing videos. Try to sleep a few minutes more a day, not necessary to make you look great, but for better health maybe? Whatever, I am always entertained by your videos since the very first one on this channel.

yeah the video is amazing. Like found footage from a hippy in the 60 's that got posessed by some forrest demon. Midsomar and Blair Witch are perfect comparison's in astethic and theme...suits the band's name aswell ;P The Song is my favourite of theirs aswell, not really into the "popy" chorus stuff, the "live one take" of rule of nines is amazing aswell, the ending is soooo brutal :D
As for whether or not the music sounds as impactful, there seems to be a lot of reverb and delay being used. This gives the overall mix a very dense sound, rather than the punchy sound some of their other recordings feature. If any of that makes any sense, at all.

So did you ever do Holy Roller? There's 2 versions of it. It's currently their heaviest released track. Zero cleans vocals on it. The "remix" of the song features Ryo of Crystal Lake. Can't go wrong with either, but Ryo brings the extra heavy.

Thank you! There was something about this song that just “didn’t sound right” to me, and you called it. The music isn’t as “grungy”. It’s good, but feels like it lost some of its heaviness, to me
Over-produced, over-compressed, cliche-ridden, very predictable, familiar sounding arrangement with Courtney's vocals tamed and restricted compared to most of their previous works, BUT with that said, I still enjoy this track, as marketable as it is.
