This movie felt like a love letter to all the people who grew up watching the first 2 Toy Story films like me, & it just hits so hard. Harder than any Pixar or Disney film has ever hit me. Including one of the only films that makes me tear up. Love the hell out of this movie.
I watched this the same year I was heading off into college as well. Our theater was packed and most were also high schoolers, and boy you could hear the waterworks from everybody.
This movie feels like the perfect movie to the story, while the fourth feels like an epilogue movie. Although, I’m still amazed that this movie got 5 Oscar nominations, including best adapted screenplay and best picture. It’s currently the last animated film to achieve the latter.
Toy Story 3 is one of the saddest movies I've enjoyed. I love Buzz and Jessie's relationship. Andy leaving to college got me sad. Spanish Buzz was freaking hilarious. The ending was so beautiful 😭😭😭💖💖💖🤣🤣🤣
Andy keeping Woody for as long as he did makes sense when you realize how long Woody has been in the family. Though it's not confirmed in the movie, Andy's father was the little boy from the second movie who was hugging Woody in his TV show.
Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Pinocchio, The Big Bad Wolf, Mr. Toad, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Tweety Bird, Sylvester the Cat, Woody Woodpecker, Betty Boop and Droopy Dog were both appeared in this crossover film, also is a the best Live-Action/Animated movie ever
I remember watching this in theaters when it came out. I also remember they had to stop the movie about halfway through causs there was a massive storm that flooded the parking lot outside. They started it back up about 20 minutes later
Can i just say how much i adore watching your reactions to animated films, especially Toy Story. Where i'm from; if an adult is caught watching these movies; he would be judged/made fun of like so bad
