I watched the whole season in a day and it’s so rewatchable. It’s so pure and has a lot of meaningful messages. Especially how it normalizes topics that others would think is taboo. I feel loved and represented watching this and more people should watch it

My favorite part was in episode 1, when Cass' customers tell her to get some rest and that they'll be back when she's ready to reopen. That's what I like about small businesses. There's a better chance for owners to connect and develop meaningful relationships with some if not all of their customers.

When Baymax asked that woman about what menstrual products she likes I was honestly worried they were going to have her just give him a weird look and walk away. Seeing all those people recommending different products they liked in such a normal positive way put a huge smile on my face especially when they featured a dad and trans man buying products too
Oh totally. And the one woman, who recommended the easy for first time product. Very good.

Omg same, I was giddy when I saw that scene. I always wanted to see a cartoon short explaining periods and not treat it as a bad thing like others do. It’s annoying how everyone is getting offended by this and think this is “brain-washing” children, like what? Does period not exist now?

This!!! This scene made me burst with joy! And seeing that father also give Baymax a recommendation was a nice touch. It shows that shopping for menstrual products is not strictly for women only.
I give the show major credit for talking about menstruation for girls. The show didn't demonize it, but showed it as a natural sign of puberty. Shame so many people are against the idea of the topic being talked about.
Yeah honestly I feel this handled menstruation 100 times better than turning red

Its no place for children to learn about that subject matter. Leave it to the parents. Disney should act as anyone's parent.
@@chrisclarke4665 Thats great for girls that have loving parents to teach and guide them but there are millions of girls who don't have that support structure so your solution would leave them lost, afraid and potentially mentally scarred if it starts at a bad time.

How did Baymax pay for the products? Hiro might have a banking or PayPal account that Baymax can connect to. Of course, that's going to be a shock for Hiro when he gets around to looking at his statement. "FIFTY BUCKS FOR WOMEN'S HYGIENE?!?!?!"

Also what I love with Sofia is that they don't beat around the bush. Their saying "HEY! PERIODS ARE A THING!" Including the shoppers of who were reccomending the pads and tampons to Baymax. Including the a guy who suggested pads that helped his daughter with her period and the woman who suggested pads if it's her first time. U know it's not like close minded people of who would think that periods are considered "too much" for the kids instead of putting their big boy pants and to just be parents and to tell their kids IT'S NORMAL!
Agreed! And that is exactly why I love that episode. It was straight to the point. No censorship. No avoiding certain details. The part when Baymax was reassuring Sofia that there is nothing to be ashamed about because periods are just a part of biology was just the icing on the cake. 👌🏾 We need more shows that are open and honest about topics like this!

I like to think that hiro or Tadashi set up an account for baymax to use in case someone needed something he couldn't make or has stored and its a small moment but I liked the father adding his input when baymax was in the aisle

I loved the Kitty Kitty Kitty episode! When Yachi made her own mouse and cuddled up next to it was so sad and so sweet. I'm glad she ended up saving Baymax and it looks like she even found a forever home!
Baymax is one of the best characters Disney has ever created! I am greatful that Disney has continued to give us Baymax content over the years. And as much as I would love another Big Hero 6 movie, (in my Baymax voice) "I am satisfied" with this adorable show.
My family and I LOVE this show. This is what my 6year old son got into watching the actual movie and the other cartoon shorts.
This series reminded me why I fell in love with Baymax and why he’s a personal favorite animated character of mine. My only real grip with this show is I wanted to see more damn it!

My question.... Why does everyone think he stole those products? Pretty obvious Cass paided him for when she was resting. She doesn't have to obviously but you really think she'd skimp on that? She gave him an employee of the month slab despite not being an employee.

This series was adorable, just like the Dug series they made. They way they handled the period episode was amazing. I especially love how they had all of the boys act when talking about it. It gives me hope that maybe future generations will have a better experience.

Don’t forget in the big hero 6 movie when hiro baymax and Abigail were stuck in the portal and baymax had no choice but to sacrifice himself to save them and his last words were I will always be with you. That was emotional

Agreed. Baymax is such a wholesome character and watching him in action just makes me feel better. I temporarily forget about my problems and I can just be happy watching him help others and be the adorable, huggable robot that he is.

With how the movie ended, you'd think that thed make a superhero spin-off. Glad i was wrong, this is so much better and so much more heartfelt. Just focusing on the core of it all, Baymax!
Technically they did make a superhero spin-off. Well, more like a series that acts as a continuation of the movie where BH6 is still in action. But I'm glad that they also gave Baymax his own spin-off series that focuses on him doing what he was designed to do. Help people. The superhero series that came out after the movie is amazing, but it's nice seeing a series that focuses on Baymax being Baymax.

I will say Baymax is cute about certain things. But Disney shouldn't be putting things such as periods and sexuality in their shows. .this is something that should be taught by parents and in some cases schools as well. Let the parents be parents and teach their kids on how they want to be raised. If Disney wants to put representation in their films and such....why not put characters in with Diabetes or Down Syndrome. That will reach kiddies to appreciate those groups who are often discriminated. Society as already approved gayness enough to the point that they are kind if harassing the community just for bandwagon profit.
Yeah, no. The problem is, a lot of parents are not teaching their children about these topics due to religious reasons, personal bias, or just plain ignorance. If parents aren't teaching their kids this stuff, where else are they going to learn it? The internet? We all know how dangerous and misleading the internet can be. I think it's great that Disney is teaching kids about taboo topics such as menstruation. It's 2022 for goodness sake! Periods should not be taboo! The more we normalize these topics, the less stigma there will be associated with them, and the less harmful bigots there will be to spew their ignorance.

This show is so freaking beautiful that it makes me teary eyed every single time I watch it! I love that this series focuses on Baymax helping people. The period episode is so freaking wholesome! The fact that Baymax went out of his way to get Sofia the best menstration products and told her that there is nothing to be ashamed of. Gah!! So precious! I'm really proud of Disney for including an episode about such an outdated stigmatized topic. Baymax is right, it's just biology and no one should feel ashamed for getting their period. This entire series is so well done and I really hope we get more episodes in the near future! 🙏🏾

What??! Really? Not even the times when Baymax comforted Hiro when he was feeling sad about missing Tadashi? There were a lot of fluff moments in that series when Baymax hugged Hiro and made him feel better. I really like the El Fuego episode when Baymax reassures Hiro that El Fuego's opinion about Baymax being "junk" because he did not want to fight him, does not diminish Tadashi's work. That was such a wholesome episode.

@@tahraethestoryteller6079 I hear ya. I would have loved to see more episodes of Go Go being emotionally vulnerable or Wasabi. Season 3 was kind of a let down because they significantly shortened the episodes' run time and formatted the season to be more like random filler episodes than full episodes that were plot heavy.

Cass and Sofia were my favorite episodes. Cass was just plain funny and sweet. Sofia was very cool on how they handled a subject that has become (in my opinion), an unreasonable taboo.
The only problem I find with the Baymax! Disney+ series is whether or not it’s in the same continuity as the Big Hero 6 film and that film’s TV series sequel
