Yes! Watch Passion of the Christ to be reminded of what Jesus suffered! I rewatched it recently after many years and it was so difficult for me to watch. To see Jesus whom I love dearly, suffer so badly for my sins, it was unbearable. But I forced myself to watch every second of his agony anyway, because I will not turn my cheek to his agony. I had also failed to pursue the holiness without which no man will see God. When I could not stop drinking or control my lust I found myself being tempted to be angry with God after several months of completely fruitless effort. Although I was angry and exhausted and had given up on my effort I didn't give up on God or accept my sin. I instead decided that every word of God was true and that my conversion had been false due to the 18 month struggle. I began to beg God. I asked God every day for repentance from dead works for around 2 years before I received the blessings and help I needed. Now I see God has blessed me and grown me by letting me blow in the wind for so long. I have learned trust, patience, and perseverance. During all that time I was never cast off. Because of the way I clung to God when I couldn't find Him I know that my faith is real.
We surely prefer the trial to come from without but even if we bring the trial upon ourselves God will use it for blessing if we belong to the Lord Christ. It really hurt. God's word is true. He chastens those he loves and scourges every son whom he receives. I will pray.

Why did God create hell. Watched video at 2:45 p.m. EDT. I believe in God and believe Jesus gave his life for our sins. But I am afraid that this is not enough and if I pray and read the Bible daily and try to live life the way he wants me too. How will I be sure that he will accept me into heaven when my time comes????

He had to create hell for the devil and his angels and i can't understand humans have to be scared by hell in order to stay faithful some of us just can't let go of sin its sad, God has to create a hell to help us stay in line that's how much he loves us some of us including myself have to remember there's a hell to keep on the straight and narrow. If Jesus died for our sin and our sin without Christ is death in a lake of fire, then why is Jesus not in the lake of fire? He took our punishment on himself.
We are unstoppable with the power of Christ. I will not lose hope even as I struggle as a single mother. Both of my sons are special needs children. They require so much from me yet I know I AM BLESSED to be their mother. So as I struggle with rent and as I struggle provide for my children I feel so alone and discouraged. Yet I PRAISE GOD. I know a blessing is on the way.

I was so far off God's version of manhood then Husband, then father. When I heard his will and accepted the Truths about the manhood God approves. IT was a process to overcome the remorse, from the wake of kaos, Insanity, toxic exposures they experienced with me as a unbeliever and lost.
