I've been reading a lot of articles mentioning how worthless 'cash savings' are in this current unstable economy and as a rookie sitting on over 500k savings do you suggest I invest in real estate, stocks or Gold?
@bastainrusso Exactly, a good number of people discredit the effectiveness of financial advisor, but over the past 10years, I’ve had a financial advisor consistently restructure and diversify my portfolio/expenses and I’ve made over $3million in gains… might not be a lot but i'm financially secure and that's great!

The ongoing banking crisis is far from reaching a resolution. Those with more than a decade of experience understand that credit crises do not dissipate within a mere two weeks. It's amusing to witness some people believing that everything has already concluded so swiftly. We are currently witnessing a credit contraction that will inevitably result in a substantial overall contraction.
Thank you for the useful video. There is a RUclips video going around in which Warren Buffet started gold is a non productive asset and should not be brought. Could I ask your opinion on this Robert? Thank you. Rahul.
There;s no doubt Buffett knows what he's talking about. (check HIS bank-balance!) But in this case I must say that he's stating the obvious. I've been saying the same (for good reason) ever since I rejected 'investing' in gold when it was on offer for $86 an ounce, a long time ago. (Came into an inheritance and as a complete novice, was looking for somewhere to park the money.) Even back then with NO knowledge or experience in investments I realised gold had NO 'VALUE' (as distinct from 'PRICE') other than jewellery or door-stops! And that the exchange-rate for both those things were iffy at best. Ended up tripling my money with an almost infallible market investment, then made MUCH more in real-estate investments. (Not just buying/selling but vastly value-adding.) These days I'm too old (and too well-off) to bother, but (when I'm in the mood) make a thousand or three dollars during an afternoon at the racetrack. (And no, I'm NOT a gambler: figured out a way of making money by backing BOOKMAKERS rather than punting on horses. The only failure I've had is that my 'system' has NEVER failed; though the arithmetic suggested that it SHOULD fail once in every 42 or 43 racemeetings. Can't win them all, I guess. Sigh.
In light of the current economic landscape, marked by a disconnect between the economy and the stock market and rising interest rates, investors are presented with a unique set of challenges and opportunities. This situation calls for a strategic approach to investing, emphasizing the importance of value investing and a long-term perspective. While traditional markets face volatility, areas like cryptocurrency emerge as promising alternatives, offering potential for growth. Navigating these times successfully requires adaptability and a keen eye for emerging opportunities in a fluctuating market.....I've personally benefited from following Cheryl Atonal’s trading tactics, amassing 26 bitcoins in a short two-month period, which speaks volumes about her expertise.
In my opinion, the pandemic has underscored the significance of diversifying income sources. Merely having a job doesn't guarantee security; the true assurance lies in cultivating various investments.
Investments have proven to be one of the most advantageous choices one can make for themselves. To this day, my crypto profits consistently contribute significantly to my overall wealth, alleviating any need for me to rely solely on my salary
Nice to see this here, the beauty of her approach is her dual focus: while she aggressively pursues profit opportunities, she's equally tenacious about shielding investors from potential pitfalls. It's a balance few can achieve.
What should be happening as a superpower is that you have to be a producer of goods and be self-sufficient and whatever you can't get then you subsidize your work and try to import that but for the most part we can't have company stay here because of too many taxes and regulations that scare them out of the country if we stop doing that and give them incentives to stay more jobs will be coming up which means more tax revenue and then we can export whatever we make and make money off that and then next thing you know we'll have a surplus of things but anything the government touches it breaks anything that sees it has to tax and put regulation on and that's the problem
You never "own" real estate, as it will always remain "conditional ownership", as long as you continue paying taxes on it! Once you stop paying property taxes, the system will steal it from you, and it will not bat an eyelash.
How does a Government give money it doesn’t have? How do you get in debt if you print money? How is gold worth only what people decide it’s worth? Why is a House only worth what someone will pay for it? How can you bet/short against the economy help the economy grow? How does insurance money disappear when it’s supposed to be there to be payed out when tragedy’s happen not being profited? How do you keep believing in a government that doesn’t make you money?😅
Not a good answer: Don't worry about it, as the Fed and the insolvent government can simply print more currency. While it may not buy much due to inflation, you will get something. At that stage of the game, after forcibly paying into a system over decades of hard work, blood, sweat, toil, time, tears and sacrifice, you will ask yourself, is this government truly legitimate? If a government is no longer legitimate by not honoring its agreements, what is your responsibility to that system?
The failure of banks in addition to global economic crisis has left the markets in shreds. I'm at a crossroads deciding whether to hold on cash or put money in the stock market, and it's uneasy for me to not panic after a recent awful divorce, my goal is to retire with $3m
Too many commercials ruin the show. It was an interesting video otherwise. PUT THE COMMERCIALS AT THE END ! Honestly Robert, would you watch channels that did that ? I unsubscribed a while back, now I remember why… THUMBS DOWN !
By withdrawing available credit in the marketplace. Remember, this is fiat currency, debt based system. The system cannot be sustained without continual currency expansion, as the fiat currency itself cannot exist without creating more and more debt. You can make debt disappear, but it will require a "debt jubilee" what was used by ancient kings who wisely saw that the amount of debt would prevent farmers from growing food, essential to feed people. Once debt disappears by edict, the system must start over. Difficult? Yes. But in this case, I see that as the only way out or dissolving of the political union that created the debt in the first place. A national bankruptcy would be the result. Then begin again.
