What a great video of your visitation Siccas! So nice to hear the guitars from completely different eras. Especially the Lacote which predates the fan bracing. A completely different sound and so good of you to play Sor on that guitar. Many thanks!
I love this kind of video so much, I had to watch it once more. Watching you playing live at Siccas Guitars was really amazing to me and the video was humorous as well. Thank you so much, Alexandra. 🤗🤗
Thank you so much for sharing this. I can only imagine how exhausting this trip was. So many guitars; so little time! I have to say that seeing and hearing young musicians with such dedication fills my heart with joy. The notes just roll off of your fingers and I'm reminded of John Williams and the like. I pray you never tire of the instrument. Keep doing what you're doing!
I've been waiting for this kind of video for a looong time. Every time I watch a Siccas video I really want to see the behind the scenes. Thank you so much for making my dream come true 😭🙏
Thank you for sharing this. I love your playing and I love the Siccas YT channel. Please keep the vlog aspect going. Your honest, off-the-cuff presentation is great, as is your charming, quirky, personality.
Just watched this, then the concert. What fantastic playing! I'm only just beginning the learn this insane instrument and your videos are a great motivator for me. I am a retired symphonic musician and wish I had the pleasure of accompanying you as you are the equal of any soloist I have had the pleasure of working with.
I was sitting in @SiccasGuitars on the same chair a month ago picking my guitar. What an amazing feeling to watch this vlog. The perfect guitarist in the perfect place. An early Christmas present. :) Thank you.
Just watched the concert on Siccas - fantastic! What a treat to hear the Ernest Shand Légende on the 1938 Ramirez guitar. Such a gentle and intimate sound. Lovely programme Alexandra - thanks!
Just watched your performance, it was out of this world! So inspiring to see someone give their all to their art. Your Mastery has grown, and you make it look easy. Thank you for sharing this.
Un video increíble, es un siempre un placer ver tu dedicación y por primera vez para mí el detrás de tus grabaciones, sin duda hay un gran sentido de apreciación por tu canal.
Greetings from Glasgow, Alexandra. Anthony here. I'm a new subscriber. This piece you've play here is absolutely gorgeous. Just lovely. I've been playin guitar for nearly 48 years. I've not heard anythin like this, anywhere. I kinna wait to listen to the rest. Haste Ye Back, Alexandra. 🍀🌹🍀
Thank you Alexandra, that was a very entertaining and informative but relaxed Vlog... I really appreciate it, I hope one day I get invited to play at Siccas Guitars in Germany.. Looks like a lot of fun I am also in the UK like you and your channel is by in my top 5 guitar related stuff on RUclips.. And I watch a lot of stuff lol.. Love it, Thanks :)
Congratulation, la felicitación obedece a lo sorprendente a esa agilidad y maestria para tocar al instrumento mas bello "la guitarra" tiene usted un camino muy largo por recorrer cuidese
It was cool 😎 that you got beer 🍺. Rather odd to see your response to you blogging on the street. And wonderful to see some of the guitars you got to play at Sicca’s. My favorite part is where you played Study in B Minor on a 1827 French classic luthier.
I get what you mean about stamina, pretty much every day I'm practicing my different instruments full out in school. Tuesdays are really the killer because I have Classical Guitar and Piano during school hours and after school I have Orchestra rehearsal (violin) for another hour and a half (each class period is 1 hour 30 mins at my school). I am pretty much wiped every Tuesday evening TvT I usually just make sure I have stuff to eat or drink during practice, like a bottle of water/part of my lunch at school and a bowl of something like pretzels or crackers at home. I guess it helps because I'm replacing the energy I'm using up while practicing.
Those who can, do. Those who can't or are just taking the guitar up again after 33 years away from it, watch. This so interesting, thank you so much for sharing your talent with those of us half way round the world from you.
Hi Alex it would be really interesting to hear u talk about your guitars, what you look for in instrument, woods, neck profile - you know all the nerdy stuff, your influence etc.
Great video and playing Alexandra. I’m a conventional guitarist on electric/acoustic guitars. But love classic playing. Maybe you could do a piece sometime on the classical guitar. Ie the guitar itself with details about specs, setups, action etc. 🙋♂️🏴
Alex I think you should make a video how you play electronic guitar Vastly overdriven tone and my best geuss that you would shredd it 😉 It wouldn't destroy your reputation as a classic guitar picker Lets vote
So interesting and fun!! You make its so cool to be there...guitar heaven. Always enjoy your energy and and talent with musicality! Which guitar was your favorite?
Здравствуйте Александра, я очень рад за Вас , Вас любят, вами восхищаются, значит я не один, кто вас любит смотреть и слушать...Радуюсь...У вас всё будет как вы скажете, не забывайте, ваши предки боги...
One of the most enjoyable RUclips videos I’ve seen. Alexandra is a superb classical guitarist, and a charming, lovely person. I see on RUclips many women playing classical guitars and classical pieces on acoustic-electric guitars. Are women better at playing classical works than men?
I just wonder, dont get the impression that its just like with violins (certainly not in money value) that there are some ancient and famous guitar builders every pro guitarist has to have (like stradivari). And that one can just as well play recently build guitars during concerts? I love vids like these Alexandra, keep it up if you can.
Thanks so much for watching! You can see the concert we filmed here: ruclips.net/video/tPhmaUsWX50/видео.html ☺️
