"The GENERAL" just looks right. You hit the balance on the truck SPOT ON. Not too much nose length & not too much bed length. "The GENERAL" is just right! You have done a great job on this project.
This is the best build I have seen. My three farorite things,the e-brake handle, the pup in the back seat and the music.I want one.keep on trucking Bro.
Fantastic looking truck. Definitely not seen every day. I admire anyone, who takes an old truck, and makes it his own (or her own, in the case of a woman... who says women can't build trucks? Not I...) and it becomes an "original" at that point. You knew exactly what you wanted, and you went and built it. That takes brains, and a rather uncommon skill set. Your truck looks beautifully custom... not "half-assed" . You have evidently put an amazing amount of forethought into your build. Every addition you've made, has contributed to the overall appearance of the vehicle. I'm not a huge fan of international products... but your's is undeniably beautiful. Congratulations.

DUDE! Love you brush painted the mirror brackets! And the pored emblems! And you are calm when things do not go perfect. Top Dawg Corona says you are very gifted At first I thought the emblem deal was lame, but now I like it!
FAWK YEAH!!! Those stacks look great exactly how you have them. The satin black, with the slash cut is the cats ass. Plus it sounds great and you can hear the turbo spool pretty good which is a huge plus. Like the 'arts and crafts' project with the emblems. Definitely cool having made them by hand, with basically your own casting process. Interested to see what you're going to do with the bumpers. Good job man, good job. 😎👍
We used a planer made for wood working to level out aluminum buss bar that carried 150,000 amps. It worked well and the blades lasted for a good while. I used a regular belt sander with belts for wood when I leveled and polished my marble top for my table on the patio. They worked well lasted about as long as working on wood. I am liking that truck, it looks like it was factory made.
This was absolutely the best build I have ever followed on the tube. Thanks for all of the extra work you do to ensure your viewers can hang out with you in your shop and enjoy the build. 👍👏🏻👊

When you fired up the General looking from the back at those stacks blowing smoke all I could think about was the Peterbilt oil tanker truck in Steven Spielberg's first movie "Duel" If they ever make a modern remake of that movie they should use your General! Looks awesome, love the cast badges too, might have to try that for a vintage GMC logo I need for my '62. Good excuse to buy at 3D printer too :)
