Biomedical engineers Genevieve Lucas (St. Joseph Hospital, Moshi, Tanzania) and Ratish Kumar (Hospital Sisters Mission Outreach, Illinois, USA) teach a group of physicians and nurses from surgery recovery and ICU at St. Joseph Hospital how to use electronic hospital beds to position patients. Hospital Sisters Mission Outreach donated several beds and intends to continue to partner with St. Joseph Hospital.
