@@livingdivinity6275 New Mexico is just like any other state in the US where everyone speaks English. There are a lot of people of Hispanic heritage, but most of them can't speak Spanish either. You can take a bus from the airport to the train station that will get you as far as Belen. From there, you can get a bus to Socorro. I am guessing public transportation once you get there would be a problem, but there's always Uber.
The original terminal building (1930s) has been restored is still open next door and used for offices and events. Check it out sometime - it’s beautiful (Pueblo Revival) and a step into commercial aviation’s past.
Nice video, unique interior architecture, and without the crowds of O'Hare,. I am flying to Albuquerque this Fall for a week's stay to check out the area and sites. I May move there in the Spring, don't know yet but hoping this upcoming trip will solidify my dream...
For arriving vistors in Albuquerque NM here's some advice. Please wear a bullet proof vest and have plenty of cash on hand for the homeless on Central Ave. Also be cautious with postitutes that roam around the fair grounds during night time hours. If you need a break you can enjoy an overpriced green chile cheese burger, while watching the International Balloon Fiesta Fiasco stuck in traffic on I 25 and Alameda at 4 AM. Later that day you can smoke a joint while waiting for your vehicle to be burglarize at one of our shopping malls. Please note weed can be purchased at one of our local head shops, ditribution centers, a friendly crack or meth head in S.E Albuquerque. Brought to by Mayor Timmy Heller Keller, and Governess MLG Shelly Looney Lujan. Thank You and enjoy your stay !!!
I don’t like the new construction. Remember the mothers with young and meditation area? Yeah, it’s gone now, and the roof is almost ripped out when you check in:
That ceiling😍😍 Love the beautiful wood beams with the Native American symbols.
I really don't know Spanish so I guess speaking would be a nightmare
Also are there buses from the airport to Socorro?

The sunport does have a pretty impressive model airplane display.
I lived in Albuquerque for a few years. A unique city. Great authentic Mexican food. Albuquerque has a nice zoo too. Good memories.
wow I haven't been to the zoo in years, definitely want to go again once this pandemic is over
@@nou-jn6uz I just went there today!
ABQ is one airport where - just by the architecture - you know what city you’re in.
It’s not your typical generic airport.
What you trynna say there 😠

Moved here a year ago and love it. Not without its quirks, but it is a great town with GREAT food and outdoor fun. Enjoy!
The last time I flew out of Albuquerque it was on a TWA jet so it has been a lot of years.
Just hearing the sounds of luggage and plane stuff brings me back (sometimes even tear up)
And also the sound of ABQ again :)
I lived in Albuquerque for a few years. It is a very unique city. I would not want to live there again though. Great memories.
