May Pen is the capital and largest town in the parish of Clarendon in Middlesex County, Jamaica. It is located on the bank of the Rio Minho River (which is Jamaica's longest River) May Pen also has a major market centre for the Parish.
Did we mentioned that the clock tower is one of the main attractions in the town centre. According to research, the clock was erected in 1908 after the death of a doctor Robert Glaister Samuel Bell who drowned while crossing the Rio Minho river in 1904. It was a memorial plaque to the late Dr. Bell and was dedicated also to World War I (1914-1918).

I remember where the houses where right in front of the basic school n the playground I also I been to May pen High school the principle was call Mr Preddie he was an excellent principle

Those were the best time of our lives growing up in May Pen.l can relate to everything those two lovely ladies are saying.l was born and grow in May Pen I leave May Pen Senior school in 19 67 until the name was changed. I am now 69 years old living in London over 40 years,when l go to Jamaica that’s were l go 🇯🇲🇬🇧
