Gear is anything that makes someone feel more like their theriotype. This could be anything from masks, ears, tails, collars, or an outfit that looks like their fur/feathers/scales etc. A theriotype is the animal someone is. People can have many theriotypes, and they could be any animal such as a cat, wolf, fox, lizard, bug, or shark. There is misinformation spread by haters saying that therians are attracted to animals, which is NOT TRUE. Z00ph1les are not acceptable in the therian community. not all tails are made out of real fur, if you want a tail make a research about each selled tail, as well as look at seller reviews, it should be written in the product description what material it's made of, seller shouldn't be lying about the product, read the reviews on the products, people usually say there if something is wrong or if it's made of different material than was written in the description these are few things you should be looking at when you want to buy something
Am I therian?, I have a very small feeling I have a tail when I do quadrobics, whenever I see a forest I feel like I have to do quads, I have a strong connection with nature, I’ve had a dream I was a dog once, I have a strong connection to my cat and dogs, I meow or bark at my animals sometimes.
There could be a possibility you could be a therian, but I feel like you could be leaning more on otherhearted. Otherhearted is basically you have a very strong connection to an animal that it feels like your family or smth like that. And also, if your thinking your a therian, see if you have any animalistic urges!
I remember telling my mom I'm a therian and she was like ok just don't say that at school and some other stuff I said it was a joke and now she says remember when you wanted that weird tail stuff it was right after that bad influence girl (bestie) I'm a therian to this day and my friend and I are being cats for Christmas so that we can trick our parents into getting us gear cause otherwise they won't 😊
