    It’s so frustrating that manufacturers don’t often use the full 15hp limit for a learners 125.

      I was having the conversation today. Shocking really that the big brands like Yamaha aren’t pushing it to the limit. It would certainly have helped with this bike.

    I love these scooters. I'd have the forza over this in 125, but I'd be hard pushed to choose between the X-Max 300 & the Forza 350. Bit more leg room on the Hondas & being 6"1' is a big factor in choice of ride. I was surprised by your experience with the windscreen, did you get it over 40 off camera?
    There are plenty of ppl who tour long distances on these, something I would happily try. I genuinely feel sorry for people who still attach stigma to scooters, they're a joy to ride, especially in shitty weather.
    👍✌️

      I did stretch its legs a little bit. Got some decent speeds out of it. It’s certainly comfortable enough for some really long journeys. With the screen being so large I didn’t expect to feel any wind but even at low speed it was getting through and hitting me in the face. I’m sure it would have been worse without it though.

    Nice, I tried this and the Forza 125, Forza has more power, better screen I found, although ended getting the 350 after also trying the 300 from Yamaha - The Honda's are also cheaper brand new.

      You can’t beat the 300’s. You really can see the difference between them and the 125’s.

    I was lead to believe Maxi skoots are generally more than 125cc

    • @GillyBikes
      @GillyBikes  4 месяца назад

      Generally they are 250 and above. They tend to be bigger scooters. This has the size, style and presents of a maxi scooter but only has a 125

    Looks decent Yamaha should have stuck 15hp in there tho cvt transmission suits 125cc much better than the norm 4 gears to 40mph geared 125 do

      For the price of these new I’m surprised it’s not 15hp or very close to it.

      @@GillyBikes yeah a would of considered it but went for new forza 15hp no brainer compared to 12

      Always E5. More expensive. But you get better mpg and better performance. But it’s more expensive.

    I like the look of the these Scoots. Maybe more the Nmax 125, I think it looks really good in the blue.
    That Voge R1 you reviewed looked nice too though I must admit.
    The quickest 125 equivalent you're going to get by far is the Zero S 11kw. But it is like 20K or something 😂.
    It's a shame you don't get paid to do this mate, but it's good to have a passion/hobby in life.

      Cheers mate. As my RUclips subscribers and views go up the money goes up but at my level it’s just pocket money. The fast electric bikes are still obscene. Very quick but you could get a new 1000cc bike for a 125 equivalent electric bike. They have some cheaper ones but they don’t perform anywhere near the zero’s. The Voge is much better than I expected. The comparison with the mt125 will be out in a week or so and I’m really shocked at the results.

    im 168cm, (5,6), would i have problems with these types of maxi scooters in your opinion?
    i remember that years ago i used to work as plumber, my boss used a big scooter for a day, and he left me alone with that thing but i didnt know how to move, put the easel up or just stabilise it. i had to move it cause a work forklift and hold the scooter with arms and shoulders for 5 minutes, it was like an old 500cc. i was dying.
    i would like to learn to drive these scooters (It would be useful to me) but i would like to avoid that situation too, or even touch the ground with my feet lol
    do you have any suggestions?

      I don’t think you would have an issue with something like this. If you get to the end of the seat you should get your feet down. You should definitely go down to a dealership and jump on a few. They look big, but seat wise very similar to any other scooter.

    Why didn't you do a 60mph test is it because it won't do it ?

    • @GillyBikes
      @GillyBikes  4 месяца назад

      No. I think it would have done it. Unfortunately I didn’t have the bike long enough to try a faster speed. Just an initial impressions ride.

    Tbh you cannot review a bike in a 5 min ride. now i appreciate you give it your best effort but i feel your been let down by your local dealer. You need to have these bikes for a few hours or maybe a few days so you can really review them fairly. just a 10 min round the block is a pointless exercise and i feel into moto is taking advantage of your desire to be a credible bike reviewer which im sure if you got the proper chance you could be without a doubt! But we all have to start somewhere so i wish you well.

      I wasn’t really happy with the footage I got but I’m trying to get a video out every 3 days. It’s definitely not my best work. I’m still learning so I value your feedback. I might have to slow down. Less videos but better quality (hopefully)

      @hectorshouse7348 I’m going to say harsh but fair in this case. Not my best work and was a bit rushed. 😳
