I agree with Casemiro and Amrabat as double pivot. After 2 straight red card for Casemiro last season, the way he defences is less aggressive and can't run back to back to cover both half spaces. so need Amrabat to cover on the other side and infron the penalty box area.
Eriksen is still a class player but he just lacks that work rate and energy which is understandable since that tragedy. He should be a substitute and be brought on when creativity is needed
It worked like this: the TV was still showing the replay of a Bayern attack and when the replay ended the camera was already showing Bayern possession of the ball live again

Højlund is a wonder kid a real box finisher. In a few years he will be unstoppable. Top signing!
Casemiro looked more energetic in this game so hopefully his getting back his fitness up. When amrabat comes in him and Casemiro will stop that leak we have in midfield plus Casemiro will be able to get forward more with his goal threat. Bruno 10 although i would swoop between him and eriksen. Also can wait for kobbie to return as he was really starting to look mature in the middle over preseason, shame he got injured. Not sure about mount roll in this team yet. Rash needs a spell on the bench as his attitude and body language was off for the past few weeks, he needs to learn that there is no i in team and only then will he fulfil that potential. 11 players injured/unavailable yet we score 3 goals away to the Germany giants. I am feeling positive about the next few weeks ❤

United should've been more clinical with that clear goal scoring chance that came at the beginning of the game, Bayern took the lead through a poor goal keeping error, and got a dubious, at best, penalty. TBH every time I see Eriksen, I am fearful because I know there will be no ball recoveries from him & he can be too casual too. I am surprised no one is blaming him for the penalty because ideally in the build up we were in possession and the wingers were running forward but we couldn’t break because he was too casual & lost possession, which let to a corner & then to a penalty. I’d be happy to see Eriksen come in as sub for Bruno but not to start him with Bruno, that’s just more pressure on Casemiro

Yeah Eriksen goes sleeping every time defensively especially tracking his man and it costs us a lot, e.g. look at the Arsenal goal which Odegaard scored he didn't check to see where the guy was and they scored immediately after United scored
That’s because he is in the wrong position. If you watch his latest games for Denmark you can see that he clearly still has a lot of use when played correctly
He normally wouldn't be playing, both Mount and Ambrabat will start ahead of him. McTominay offers 0 progressive passing or ball carrying so he can't play next to Casemiro either

Casemiro is THE problem alongside Eriksen. Our midfield pairing should be something like anchor+orchestrator+a creative mid.
Casemiro goes too high and doesn't track back. Eriksen doesn't run or get into duels. Bruno goes alone to press like a headless chicken.

Defence needs to pattern up, we face too many shots and we already knew Onana wasn’t supposed to be doing shot stopping for us but make ball playing and playing out the back improve
We simply cannot blame Onana for these results. Our defense and midfield is leaking big time. Reguilon is a breath of fresh air though

Goalkeeper Onana faced 2 on target very easily especially the first goal but he failed to stop the net.
On the other hand, the team that creates the ball, maybe Casemiro is a destroyer and needs a ball maker to play alongside him, but if the situation continues in this year's team, maybe because Eriksen, who is currently playing in the no.8 position, his real position is AM.
One mistake changed the momentum....
