The thing is you have options now in days even if you live in the “hood”. Growing up I had a cellphone & common sense I would see how my primos would push big weight and instead of wanting to worry about getting unalived by the enemigas and police I decided to go legit by switching the product . I went to trade shows, networked with the oversea manufacturers, purchased the goods that were top notch quality and sold wholesale to many businesses. The underworld and the legitimate businesses are very similar. Now in days people are connected through social media apps etc real street individuals know there’s so much pain, growth and patience to make it out we never condone the “street lifestyle” or make excuses as to why you need to be involved in the streets bc thats all choice (bad) now in days

People that have never been locked up would never understand. You don't have to snitch to get your case lessened. Like he said, at first they said 100, after all the fighting they told him plea 10 years take it or leave it. At that point you either take the deal or go to trial. With different numbers of years I went through the same process.
